I had an amazing experience doing the safari with Dancing Simba. Everything was perfect from the beginning, when David carefully helped me choose the best package suited to my preferences and budget. My girlfriend and I decided to go for the 4-night / 5-day option, spending four days in the most famous Tanzanian parks (Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro), and the last day on an excursion to Kilimanjaro.
During the safari, our guide Yasin was the best we could have hoped for. He was excellent at spotting animals, but above all, he was a truly kind and caring person. He always looked after us and took care of every single request or need. We shared lovely moments with him, even during the long drives between parks — his presence made the journey truly enjoyable. Asante sana, hujambo jomba — we will never forget you!
On the last day, during our Kilimanjaro excursion, we had the pleasure of being guided by Elisha, who was also a very friendly and kind person. With him, we visited the Materuni Waterfalls and had an amazing cultural experience with a local tribe during the coffee tour — something I strongly recommend to everyone. The local people were incredibly warm and welcoming, and we danced and sang together while going through the entire coffee-making process. Later, Elisha brought us to some natural swimming pools where we could relax at the end of the day. He was always polite and attentive. Maisha marefu, my friend!
My final comment: everyone should go on a safari at least once in their life — and I can wholeheartedly recommend doing it with the Dancing Simba team. We had such a lovely and unforgettable experience with them. Thanks and best...
Read moreThis was our first safari experience and my first time in Africa, and I can safely say that it is one of the best weeks we have ever had. We spent one day in Lake Manyara, two days in Serengeti, one day in Tarangire, and one day exploring the Materuni waterfalls and doing a coffee tour. Every day was completely different and we got to see a unique environment with beautiful animals. Dancing Simba Safaris was always committed to making sure our needs were met. David was always accessible and helpful. He gave us an upgrade on a few of the accommodation days because he wanted to make sure we had the most comfortable stay. One of the best parts about this week was the guides!!! They were so welcoming, approachable, and incredibly hard-working. We ended up becoming really comfortable with them at the end of our trip. Special mentions: Julius: super friendly guide, always smiling and positive. He always went out of his way to make sure we were making the most of our time there. Great music playlist! Owen: Very friendly and absolutely lovely guy Fausten: Very knowledgeable and answered all the questions we had about the animals. Endu: we only got to spend a short time with him, but he was full of energy and made us laugh so much. Great Bollywood knowledge! We also had a lovely chef with us for the week called Joseph, who catered to my dietary preferences (pescatarian).
Thank you so much to Dancing Simba for this wonderful experience that we will be talking about forever. I would highly recommend this company for anyone considering doing a safari experience...
Read moreIt was my first safari experience. We were 4 adults , and booked Luxury Safari for 6 days - 5 nights. The Safari trip went as we expected, the accommodations, the safari and the safari guide, from the moment we arrived in Arusha , until they dropped us off at the airport.
Our Safari guide “Bulldozer” was nice and very knowledgeable about the animals and nature in general. His driving skills were really good and positive mindset. All in all , he made our trip special, he was a friend more than a safari guide. Big Thanks to you, Bulldozer!!
Regarding the vehicle, I’m not sure if all Safari vehicles have air conditioners, but ours didn’t have one. In addition, we had two vehicles issues but they were solved in a few hours. I trust this is comments on the Safari vehicle, but the “Dancing Simba” need to pay attention to this matter. We were fine with spending a few hours fixing the car , but others would not accept this. I would like t highlight that the vehicle issues are not our Safari guide issue. I claimed this issue to David “ Dancing Simba’ manager” so he apologized to all of us at the end of the Safari and he offered a free ride from Zanzibar airport to our accommodation in Nungwi. He saved us 65$
All in all , the Safari experience was great , and I highly recommend “Dancing Simba”
Once again, thanks a lot to you , David...
