Village Cafe — Restaurant in Arusha

The Margareta pizza had raw tomatoes put on top of the pizza, after it was cooked. I asked the cashier where is the basil and tomatoes, the cashier said tomatoes mean the sauce 🤔 like how silly then she gave it back to the baker who put raw tomatoes and handed it back to me. No basil. I did show management, the manager did say no charge. I would have preferred to pay and get what I ordered. No one in the house would eat that pizza.

The so called beef Burger is like mashed potatoes with a weird brown color. The chicken burger taste like mashed potatoes with the same texture of mashed potatoes and color.

BTW: management may have never had burgers. I also am sure the chef has never had burgers. Management are very nice and they try to make things better.

The fries have no seasoning nor salt.

The beef sandwich was nice. I was thinking it would be like a Philly, yet it's some yummy meat between 2 slices of white bread then toasted. It's yummy.

I do not recommend the burgers as they are like mashed potatoes, with the same texture and flavor.

The salad is cut to big, unless you have a horse mouth, the salad dressing is yummy.

The chicken Eggrolls SUPER YUMMY 😋

SO 1 beef Burger put in the trash 🗑 1 chicken burger put in the 🗑 trash.1 pizza put in the trash 🗑. The salad I cut ✂️ up the fries I put seasoning and salt.

The Eggroll yummy and chicken biryani we all split and enjoyed. The biryani and Eggrolls was super yummy 😋

I will return, yet never order burgers 🍔 only Indian dishes. Maybe I'll try to order a pizza again if I'm able to talk to the baker!!!

The service is amazing.

BTW: THE CLEANEST PLAVE IVE SEEN IN...

It was a pretty bad experience at Village Cafe. We placed the order for coffee with the cashier and kept waiting for at least 15 minutes and got nothing. On checking with him, he hadn't informed the lady making the coffee of our order. Rather than apologising for this, he kept insisting the order had been placed and that it won't take more time (the lady had asked him why he hadn't told her). He needs to pay attention to customers rather than being glued on his phone all the time.

The coffee was good - no complaints there. The atmosphere right within a supermarket isn't great - it could be better if some demarcation...

The iced latte was like drinking meringue. It was entirely foam without liquid. The red velvet cake was not good either. Little flavour and too dry. A disappointing experience. The barista was friendly why I’m not...
