Twiga Brewery — Restaurant in Arusha

It was hard to know if it was open, or where it was. We tried to call ahead for clarification, but there was no answer.. we decided to try anyway. Lights were off, but don't be discouraged. It's located in the mall foodcourt. You can sit anywhere; someone will bring your order to you. Just 2 beers on tap right now, but they let us sample before ordering, and food (and drinks) can be ordered from nearby...

What an excellent stop! After some beautiful and dusty safari days in the bush, we have truly enjoyed the freshly tapped Twiga Beer and the brewery tour. Since almost every Safari Car is passing the AIM Shopping Mall, where the Twiga Brewpub is located, on the way to/from Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Nationalpark, we can highly recommend stopping there and support this local but professional...

Twiga is a lovely, independent brewery found in AIM Mall. I went there with a couple of friends on a weekday evening and loved it there.
