Malee Malee Handmade stuff — Local services in Ko Lanta Yai

This review is 2 years late hahaha. While in Thailand I decided to take a small road trip to the old town of Koh Lanta and stumbled upon this spot. I was warmly greeted by the owner who was super sweet. I really wanted coffee but unfortunately it was closed. Upon fully inspecting the store I noticed the made their own pottery. Not really needing any but being very impressed with certain pieces, I ended up buying two pieces. They are both unique and properly displayed in my house. We ordered breakfast here but unfortunately the avocado wasn't ripe. Most places would serve this regardless but the chef came out and explained she would make something else vegan for me. I think she was a little worried about serving me her version of a vegan hash brown but it was honestly the best hash brown I've ever had. The food was amazing and the sisters who work there are so nice. I wish I had the recipe so I could make my own. All this while she was carrying a baby on her back!...

This store really stands out amongst the others on the walking street. Although the prices are a bit higher than in the other stores here, everything is made and arranged with a lot of love and care.
