My girlfriend and I are both vegan and gluten free. We were so happy to find a restaurant that not only accommodates, but also has a separate menu for veg options! The veg menu had everything, from appetizers, to soups, to fried rice, noodles, curry and desserts. They also serve pizza, pasta and burgers + wine, beer, teas and fruit shakes. Great mix of Thai and Western food. This place has good prices, big portions compared to other Thai restaurants and the food tastes amazing (full of flavor)! The staff, chef and owner know what vegan means, they are very friendly, and it's a family run restaurant. The waitress was very attentive when taking our order, spoke English very well and the service felt as if we were at a high end restaurant. The seating area on the water is perfect any time of the day, and gives you a beautiful view of the sea and nearby islands (they also have rain and wind covers if the weather is not so good). The music also felt like we were at a spa, great relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant also offers free wifi with good connection. We loved the Panang Curry, the Pad C Ew Sen Yai with Tofu & veggies, the Pineapple fried rice and the Stir Fried Tofu with sweet chilly paste. We've eaten here a few times and find ourselves always going back! Highly recommend it, especially in...
Read moreGreat location and very good service. We started off with a mango and papaya salad which were delicious. As explained below our curries for main course were unfortunately very disappointing. After having an extremely spicy curry yesterday we opted to have our curries ‚less spicy‘ and received a curry which tasted more like a dessert. The consistency (see picture) was more than strange and I couldn’t finish my green curry as it was so sickly due to the taste. In fact, I barely even started it before saying I was finished. We explained and they said they had reported it to the kitchen but we were given no explanation. We were charged for the curries too, not a problem but it would have been accommodating if they had taken them off the bill. A shame because this place definitely has potential and from the reviews it seems like we...
Read moreFirst you are greeted by a beautiful rooster at the front of the walkway that serves as the restaurant's mascot. Then, you walk a nice boardwalk into the seating area. After a short hall, the seating area opens into a beautiful panoramic view of the landscape on a covered deck. If this was not enough, the food is also great. Portions were large so be prepared. I had the Tom yum soup and I asked for thai-spicy. It was a good amount of spice but I not enough to hurt me (which is how I like it). Everyone raves about their fried sticky rice, but I preferred the fritters which were so freaking good. Prices were decent, especially for the portions. Do yourself a favor and give this place a shot! Pro tip: order their special butterfly pea with lime soda, give it a little stir, you...
