Have been to 20+ hamam all over Turkey so have lots to compare. Firstly being in the basement of a 3* hotel you do not get any of the character and atmosphere of some of the historic hamam and it is not the most luxurious (the sauna was not working that day) but at the end of the day you come for the service.

Best to agree/negotiate the price when booking. Currently (Jun'23) I agreed 600tl cash for the 2 hour package of foam bath/peeling/1 hour oil massage then soap massage. All of these were of a high standard. In 20+ hamam this was the first time as a man the massage was done by a woman (Şafika?) and she set out to prove she was better than all the men and succeeded. Was very impressed. Same with the soap bath / massage (Harun?) before AND after was good.

Language was a slight barrier but could make myself understood easily enough. Allow for tipping in addition to the price which is customary. Overall I would recommend Mostar...

Had a really wonderful experience at Mostar Hamam today! While not as private or gender segregated as others I've visited, the overall experience was top notch.

I had the full package - hamam, sauna, scrub, massage and soap massage - for 600 lira, so not the cheapest (or maybe tourist tax?) but was worth every penny.

Both massages were amazing, just the right balance of deep tissue and relaxing. Overall I was in there over three hours and never felt rushed, the staff were extremely professional and friendly.

They were kind enough to store my backpack while I spent the afternoon exploring the city, then went above and beyond when I returned late after being trapped in a crazy storm - offered to dry me and my clothes off in the sauna, managed to find me a taxi and helped dry me up as much as possible before I rushed to the airport. Extremely professional and authentic turkish hammam experience with segregated men and women spaces.

It's not the most luxurious but if you want to experience an authentic turkish bath come here.

It cost us 500 TL per person for foaming peeling steam /sauna and 1 hour oil massage. The whole treatment lasted 2 hours.
