Enchanted Uganda Safaris — Local services in Fort Portal City

I had a wonderful Gorilla Trek in Rushaga (Bwindi Forest) using Enchanted Uganda Safaris with Bosco. Bosco picked me up in Kampala, drove me safely to Bwindi and arranged accommodations at an awesome place called Rushaga Gorilla camp. Even though it was the "budget" option the room was quite comfortable, had hot running water for showering and the food was great. The dinner and lunch were an extra cost but both were very reasonably priced. I got quotes from several different safari companies, and Enchanted Uganda Safaris had by far the best price. When we arrived to go on the Gorilla Trek there was some confusion regarding my permit and the rangers said I may not be able to go until the following day. Bosco straightened it out and I was able to go and it was an incredible experience. The guides for the actual trek for Gorilla Trekking will always be park employees- your safari guide is responsible for getting you there, securing lodging and permits, and getting you back safely. Bosco was flexible and returned me to Entebbe as requested instead of Kampala. The drive was pleasant and once outside of Kampala there was very little traffic. I highly recommend both Gorilla Trekking and Bosco. If you choose to go on a Gorilla trek please wear long pants, socks high enough you can tuck your pants into them (to prevent ants from climbing up your leg and biting you), and a rain jacket. ...

Actually we spent very good time with Bosco while our Gorillas Safari in Uganda. We were 5 people . He arranged big car for us. It was ok for our baggages too. He informed us every details about Uganda on the way. We had time with him fully 4 days. We went to Queen Elizabeth park, Equator line, Bwindi with Gorillas , and also to Lake Bunyonyi. Every destination was different from eachother and fabulous. We did payment to Bosco before coming to Uganda in order to get permissions for Gorillas Safari. He get all permissions for us before we came Uganda. Our Gorillas Safari was so fantastic. We got also our certificates after that, we spent 1 full hour with Gorillas. We took pictures, videos. And witnesses their family environments. Every lounge/hotels we stayed was clean. Dinners and breakfast are delicious . We were so satisfied on this tour . Just did a 11 day trip with Bosco around the major attractions in Uganda. The trip covered Murchinson Falls, Fort Portal, Queen Elizabeth National Park as well as Chimpanzee and gorilla tracking. I confirmed my trip just a week before as a solo traveller but Bosco was able to make the arrangements quickly for my private tour. It’s helpful to have all the logistics taken care of. Bosco proved himself capable of juggling the various roles of guiding in the city and also on wildlife. I like hiking and we were able to fit a small hike in the Rwenzori Mountains. Apart from the nature, I did appreciate being able to do community walks as well.
