It was my first time there and while the service was friendly my first waiter disappeared but the second one made up for it with very efficient service. I wanted to have the Goat cutlets but unfortunately Goat wasn't available that evening so the waiter recommended the pizza. It was a good recommendation and I enjoyed it with the extra chilli as per my request. The beer was nice and cold too. My friend had the fries. I plan to go again to try the Indian menu coz I espyed an Indian chef as I was about to leave and i saw a few Indians walk in while i was leaving. I am guessing that the Indian food must be good.
I went back for breakfast and the experience was completely different. I ordered the breakfast from the menu. The food took over an hour to arrive despite there being only us in the restaurant, and when it did the order was wrong. I got an omelette instead of sunny side up eggs. The home fries were definitely not home fries. The chef Odongo was rude and complained when I returned the eggs and home fries with a request for sunny side up eggs. The bread came without butter and stale jam. The supervisor Janice was no help at all. After all that I decided not to have anything and requested that I be billed exclusive of the home fries & eggs. Instead, the chef packed the eggs and the bread without the home fries and demanded that I pay in full. Overall it was a very disappointing experience and not a great start to my day. I wouldn't recommend the...
Read moreHave heard good things about this cafe so was interested to have my first visit here.
Waitress on this visit was charming and helpful (compared with waiter on visit in December 2021 who seemed a bit clueless and did get several items wrong). For example, we did not want ice in the juice; and we did not want a plastic straw. (Plastic straws all end up in the sea, believe it or not, so we prefer paper ones, or none at all). Juice had ICE plus plastic straw!!
Most impressed by chef Isaac who came out during a power cut to explain the menu options.
The sandwich descriptions in the menu are not enticing but I seemed to pick a good option, the vegetable sandwich with mushrooms. Very tasty indeed.
Since then I've eaten grilled chicken with mash and mushroom sauce and steamed vegetables. The chicken was very succulent.

Read moreI go here sometimes. Most recently I had the Paneer roll. It is basically just a chapati with too much mayo, small bit of salad inside and on the side, undercooked paneer and a small amount of chips. It arrived quickly, but was cold, which is strange. It cost me 20k, but the ingredients probably cost them 3k or less. Terrible quality, terrible value. Before that, I ate there on Christmas eve, and they gave me food poisoning, so that made for a nice Christmas day. Before that, I had a chicken biryani with way too much fat and bone. Other times, I had a pizza and burgers, which were fine. The big platter of Indian food was OK. Ice creams, juices, milkshakes and coffees are good. Quality and value wise, it depends on the dish you order. The servers are usually quick...
