A vast maze of tiny areas/rooms rammed with mainly house clearance tat, no order to it all, steps and ledges everywhere so be very careful you dont stumble and fall. Its a very old building with super.creaky floors and wobbly shelves also.. which i guess just adds to the adventure..."YOU WILL GET LOST".... There is a cafe on site, the day we visited we waited 1hour and 25 minutes for our food. Told when ordering it may be a long wait ( a bit subjective)...but nearly 1.5 hours is a joke..food wasnt great either when it eventually arrived. Would i return.?only if i wanted to fall and break my leg....also. see image of the omelette served to my wife...looks like its been cremated...

An interesting Antiques Centre with an eclectic mix of Flea Market Finds, Bric-a-Brac, Collectibles and Antiques covering many areas of collecting. The warren of rooms large and small are fun to explore and vary hugely in quality and presentation. With such a huge variety of stock, some desirable, some less so, it's worth a visit as you never know what you might find. Prices seemed reasonable and cover most budgets. If you're not seeking high end antiques and art works then enjoy a good mooch. Limited free parking with a Pay and Display Car Park also available.

Staff friendly and helpful. Free parking behind site, or free parking in the joining car park for 1 hour. Nice modern tea room with roof terrace. Show rooms are FULL of items. My first visit here to say I live 10mins away - it's deceptively HUGE! Thoroughly enjoyed my visit. Keep an eye out for something in mind and you might be surprised what you can find! As someone who was stereotypical to antiquities as "boring" I thoroughly enjoyed it! Worth a visit for any age, couple, family or business.

Dangerously over crammed with no maintenance done on building resulting in many floorboards dipping under the lino in places very unexpectedly & handrails on the stairs not secured. The site owners have allowed stall upon stall of what looks like not even collectables just junk items from 70s onwards often poor condition & overpriced as same items can be had much cheaper at any car boot sale, in my opinion it no longer deserves to be classed as an antiques centre admittedly you will find about a quarter of units stocked with genuine antiques the vast majority could not even classed as vintage. The smell is also horrendously off putting & I'm well aware these places do often have a unique odour this was a rotting mustering smell of sheer neglect forcing me to leave after 20 odd mins feeling as I had wasted my time. The only positive is the lady on the front counter was very courteous but staff on the second level ignored me to carry on gossiping, not even moving aside for me to get through the doorway where one was standing they forced me to walk all...

This is an emporium of all sorts of vintage/antique items, everything from postage stamps to large pots ( having said that I didn't see a kitchen sink, although one may have been lurking in there somewhere). You need to plan your attack on this place carefully, it could easily take all day. A mosey into Heanor town for a spot of lunch is a requirement, otherwise you'll be beaten by early afternoon. As always there's the council's car parking take to be considered, they are always there to grab what they can. On the other side of town there's Tesco's free parking for a good couple of hours, do a stint of rummaging then back to shift the car to the other shopping area across the road and use Tesco's cafe or Costa then back to the emporium for another session. Good bargain hunting. On your way between cafes and emporium have a rummage in the charity shops in the town, and there's usually somat...
