Balmoral Golf Club — Local services in Belfast

Played today ,20th of March, absolutely a abomination off a golf course,I use that term ,very lightly,on arrival we where informed that when you land in the fairways,lift the ball and play it from the rough ,I thought April the 1st had arrived early ,tee boxes tragic,worst greens I've seen,and had the cheek to charge full price,a disaster off golf course, obivously they want to have there cake and eat it , really it should be closed,will never put my foot in that place...

Played today sunday 20th March, really shocked how bad this course is, matts on every tee box, wasn't aloud to hit off the fairway on any hole, everyone had to lift the ball onto the rough and hit from there, which i have never heard in my life, greens where shocking, every green spiked and sandy, has to be the worst course i've ever played, i play twice a week and play off 8, will never be back there, dont waste your time. They also charge full...

It’s……ok. Rounds here are expensive enough, but I found the course a little bland, very flat, overall not a huge challenge and not many memorable holes. On the other side, it was well maintained and the members we talked to were very pleasant. Overall it’s not terrible, there’s just much better courses within 10miles...
