Costa Coffee - Shane Retail Park — Restaurant in Belfast

Nice coffee, but was left standing for 10 minutes, they forgot my order.

I went to get a toddler seat and it was absolutely filthy. I asked a staff member if he would give it a wipe. He said he had just sprayed it with alcohol spray and to let it dry, it would be fine. Totally unacceptable! I wouldn’t put my dog in it, never mind my 14 month old… Acting manager had no interest, she was only manager for the “next 20mins” and made no effort to put things right. Went for a coffee while out shopping on boucher Road. While they were pouring or coffee I went to get sugar to find it was empty when I asked the 2 members of staff for sugar they informed me they had none and offered to put syrup in it we said no thanks and the staff thought it was funny when I asked for a refund. My partner and I visit this Costa about 2 or 3 tonnes a week when using a car charger nearby. The service has been terrible for about 3 weeks now, new staff are very poorly trained and this means there is constantly a queue, even when there is noone else in the shop. The staff are friendly but not managed will and even the manager was making mistakes, blaming it on the new staff and asking them had they not read the messages he sent about the summer menu?
