Large park with wheelchair access almost everywhere. Wheelchair friendly playground and community allotments located nearby car park along with a bowling green (unsure if membership is necessary). Several paved paths around the park in the open or under the cover of trees make this good for walks, running, cycling all year round. Open air exercise equipment is located on one of the outside trails of the park. Football pitches located a short walk from the playground (also unsure if membership necessary). Benches located in several areas good for short breaks amd picnics. Several bins located along paths with most of the park being quite clean, also public glass disposal bins located at car park. Gardeners do a great job, plants are in good condition all year round. Several fruiting plants (raspberries, blackcurrant, peaches, apples etc) grow around different areas of the park, good for a wee nibble depending on the time of year. *Note: construction occuring at car park and entrance so be slightly cautious when going...
