Great atmosphere was a great start a line out the door looking at the menu on the outside lol but unfortunately that's where it ends maybe we ordered the wrong food off the menu but this wasn't it, not great would have got better at Ivors and thats not amazing either. I ordered the chicken club sandwich but the mrs makes better at home. The sandwich was dry as bone as it was turkey and not chicken, never came with a sauce, served with a Chipotle coleslaw which was rank and I love my coleslaw. I love sourdough toasted with jam & butter at home but this sourdough would make a noise if you where to knock on them lol like planks of wood this club sandwich needed soft white bread. Dish had Steel Doritos which supposedly are handmade as a garnish nasty stuff, actual chilli Doritos would have been a better substitute on the plate. The images speak for themselves Keith not very appetising.

Partner had a breakfast wrap that was also dry with no runny egg substituted with scrambled egg instead of a fried egg which is very strange never had a breakfast wrap/burrito with scrambled egg. Scrambled egg wouldn't be a very popular egg choice here in Ireland 🇮🇪 fried or poached egg first pick hands down. I'd have a variety of different omelettes before I would have scrambled egg just made the wrap dry and hard to eat. Dish was served with ballymaloe relish which i love at home but this relish is more for a bbq or hotdog in my opinion for me it didn't go.

My biggest pet hate is bacon not well done which I asked for 🥓 bacon was meant to be streaky bacon but didn't taste like it the bacon had fat. Bill was like £30 inc tip but I wouldn't rush back in a hurry, we actually left hungry! Dissapointed but some things on the menu sound like they have potential especially the chicken / American style waffle combo maybe someday...

made our long awaited return to Bolt today, specifically choose today and when we arrived it was packed to the rafters we actually got the last but 1 table. great trade for lunchtime. Despite being hyper busy our order was taken within 5 mins by a lovely smiling pleasant waitress who could not have been more helpful it's our wee dietary tweaks to the food. Our party of 3 had the chicken chorizo pasta, a fried chicken ciabatta (which came exactly how i ordered it) and a new york new york steak sandwich stuffed with steak cooked to perfection n mushrooms and onion which had me making eyes at dear hubby for a share of it all smothered with the creamiest pepper sauce. As a family we also shared their salted chilli chicken starter and a devineeee 15 traybake round sat perfectly with my "proper pot of tea" Despite the amount of people there service was swift, we had a chat with Keith who apologised for the wait and was such a gentleman, no apology needed but tue perfect example of a leader in how to keep your customers happy without putting your staff under undue pressure . A perfect spot for brunch lunch or even a cuppa n a chat with a pal. Do yourself a favour and get down here asap take my world you'll return on many occasions. Food delicious and plentiful great value for money and fabulous staff. Well...

The last time I was in Bolt, a month ago, I got the breakfast soda and asked for an extra egg on it as I find soda farls quite dry. Two eggs came on the soda but there was no runny yolk whatsoever, in fact, the eggs were both completely over cooked and hard in the middle, the yolk had actually gone crumbly it was that dry. As a result, eating the filled soda was hard work, it was all just so dry and like eating cardboard. I had to take a sip of water with every bite. Today I was back and I specifically asked the waitress to make sure the poached eggs are runny. She hastily snapped back at me, our eggs are always runny. I know this not to be the case from past experience but said nothing. I got the feel good breakfast today which comes with two poached eggs. When it arrived both were hard in the middle resulting in a dry flavourless brunch. Very disappointed and I’ll go elsewhere from now on. Honestly, not worth the queue or the money. I basically ate dry toast today with avocado and bacon. Not even a was everything ok when the guy came to lift the plate, which would have given me a chance to tell him this instead of writing a...

The other half and I visited Bolt Deli after he saw one of his mates posting about it on Instagram. We arrived just after 1pm on a Saturday and had about a 10 minute wait with 2 parties in front of us, but once we were next to be seated we were given a menu to start browsing straight away. Our server even highlighted some dishes that were popular and recommended. I opted for the Nik-Nak flatbread with garlic butter chips and a hot chocolate, and my fiancé chose the beef and halloumi burger with cheesy peppered chips and a caramel latte. Even though the deli was packed, the wait for food was only about 20 mins and when it arrived we couldn't fault anything. Everything was hot, the portion sizes were generous, and every item was very tasty. I don't drink tea or coffee so always go for a hot chocolate, and this is one of the best hot chocolates I've had anywhere. We found it to be very reasonably priced for the quality and size of the dishes, and the staff were great. We'll definitely be back to sample more of the extensive menu!

First time trying Bolt Deli and there was a queue out the door, which is always a good sign. Didn't take too long to get seated, staff were very friendly and attentive. Was a little apprehensive as nothing on the menu was marked as gluten free (GF) , however, our server was reassuring that most things could be adapted GF. At the time of this review all sauces were GF and there was GF bread available. However, if you are coeliac you may not be able to have anything fried as the server did inform me that there's no separate frier so there is a risk of cross contamination. The menu was extensive with so many appetizing options on offer so it was hard to decide! Ended up going with the Cobb Salad which was delicious! Will definitely be back to try more on the menu!
