Omniplex Cinema Belfast - Kennedy Centre — Local services in Belfast

Love the Kennedy centre Omniplex, it's not that far from my home so it's ideal. The rooms are always clean & warm, the staff are always polite & the drinks are always cold. Me my wife & kid would always use the cinema deal they have with 26 West it's such a great deal, out for something eat then a good movie. The only reason for dropping a star is entirely based on the poor cinema food, no fault of the staff's as its beyond their control, it's just not that appetizing is all, would get 5 stars if they had a decent hot nuts machine & better quality hot nuts. The pre pack nachos with pre pack cheese under a lamp/light just doesn't cut it, they arn't even warm when you get them & there's slim options for other types of crisps. I would happily drive past one cinema to go to another just for better cinema food. Its half the reason im there in the first place lol. Bit of a strange set up. We arrived approx 15 mins before film start time and were told we couldn't use cash, and could only order drinks or snacks by card, via the electronic machine. Then had to wait for staff to call us, despite the fact there wasn't anyone else waiting. Just felt a bit bizzare and annoying, that we had to stand about for 10/15 mins for no obvious reason, while what appeared to be a very young staff, chatted to each other.

While watching the film we were in the row behind 2 women who continuously chatted to each other, at a volume that was obviously intrusive and distracting for everyone trying to watch and hear the film, but no response or interaction from staff.

good service except for having no staff in the cinema rooms. brought my younger brother to see minecraft movie and he didn’t enjoy it because of the amount of misbehaving teenage boys, throwing popcorn and other sweets at people, including us, and they were all just screaming the entire film and not one bit of staff did anything about it. there should be staff in the cinema rooms. we did leave a complaint with the supervisor as my brother was extremely upset and overwhelmed with the outcome, the supervisor sorted us out with a complimentary voucher each, many thanks to the...
