If I could give less stars for this salon I would. Went in November 2022 and had a beautiful colour done by Sabia. It was a beautiful grey using mounir colours. Went again a few days ago as hair was light and needed a little bit more lightening but no where near how much I had to have done in November. Anyway got the service done, sabia had to leave at 5.30 which was fine and the owner Safina had to take over which I was happy with. Sabia clearly put toner in my hair and told safina she was going and to top up toner if needed. Safina did not do that. I was there the whole day as it was only leaving to do something in the middle and then returning. Safina is so slow and thinks everyone has all day to sit in her salon and wait for her to float around. I proceeded to sit there. After she had floated around leaving me with toner in, she failed to top it up and then washed it out and dried it.
The hair looked grey in her lighting so I paid her Ā£200 which is over the top for a salon in lozells. I left the shop and when I sat in the Uber and the light hit my hair, my sister told me it was blonde and not grey. I immediately messaged sabia. I was told I had to pay for another toner when I had paid Ā£200 and was assured it would be grey and it didnāt turn out that colour. Why should I pay extra? My mum spoke to safina as she knows her for years. Safina claimed I wanted sabz to do my hair only and hog up the time in the salon for myself. Then claimed she didnāt even know I wanted grey despite us telling her on the day and the next day when I went. Was told she would sort it out. I was told I would still have to pay. Wasnāt happy so I walked out and then messaged safina as she started ignoring my messages and my mums calls. Was then met with a rude response from someone who claims she has ābeen doing this before you were bornā. She can keep that attitude to herself tbh. Then I get a message from sabia today saying safina is refusing to provide any services until I apologise which she got a very nice response back disrespectfully because Iāve had enough of her rubbish. You can see in the picture I have uploaded to the top right thereās a copper patch, my hairs patchy, and the roots that you canāt see are a rusty nasty brown copper. Thatās apparently grey lol.
Avoid this salon, safina scams people out of their money, messes up hair that her hairdressers have nicely done and then tries to charge extra to fix their...
Read moreGuys i tried to put my review on wahanda and its not going up lool i wrote this: Today my sister booked me an appointment here and i have to say it was the worst hair cut of my life. There was only one member of staff working, as the manager came in late. As soon as the manager came instead of attending to my sister who was waiting for a cut she announced that she would dry her own hair first, and paid very little attention to us. After the stylist finished cutting my hair she asked if i liked it however it was apparent that my hair was so incredibly wonky that it was visible from far away at first she denied this but then put in efforts to straighten it out and when this made it worse she blamed me saying that i kept moving my head (which i did not). The end result was that one side was 1-2 inches shorter than the other when i only wanted a trim. When i approached the manager about this she did try to fix it however it seemed as if my hair would just get shorter without getting straight as it didnt seem she was that bothered about my hair. When i complained she was constantly smirking and simply stated that 'it would grow back'. When i asked her whether she found the situation amusing she simply replied :' what do you want me to do cry about it' without so much of an apology from the manager. She even asked me smugly if i regretted booking my haor appiintment there which i truthfully said i did. When the manager cut my sisters hair she asked myself and my other sister whether we thought it was straight, althoughh it wasnt as uneven as mine it was not straight and when we pointed this out she simply overruled us by telling my sister it was straight and just gave a number of excuses of why its uneven: her head isnt straight etc. She also accused us for looking for excuses in her hair cuts when to be honest it wasnt us being picky it was just herself and her employees being unable to cut hair in a straight line. Although she didnt charge me for my cut as it was so horrendous she charged my sister £25 for an uneven cut and very rude and poor customer service. If i were you i wouldnt go to this place unless you want to be treated unproffesionally, and rudely and the end result for your hair to look uneven and a bit like Chucky as this experience was no less than a horror
YOUR HAIR WILL COME OUT WORSE THAN WHEN YOU WALK...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf I could give 0 stars I would. Safina is the rudest and most unprofessional stylist I have ever met. My mum and I booked her to have our hair done for my cousins wedding. Not only was she 35-40 minutes late, she then did not listen to us when we told her the hairstyles we wanted. My mum was telling her she wasn't keen on the style yet she carried on and as she was so late there was no time to change it. We were also told beforehand that each style would only take around 20 minutes, but she took 45 each which then meant we were unable to leave when we needed to. Yes I had asked for Safina to come an hour earlier the day before, which she agreed to but still didn't do. She said that I changed it last minute but she agreed to it so why was she late?! If she was unable to arrive at 7am she shouldn't have said she would be there at 7am. I called her at 7.15 and she said she had just got to the salon to collect a curler. The next day when I told Safina we'd rather not book her for the next event she made up a pretend booking. She said that there was a booking before us which is why she was late. This was not once mentioned before. She also didn't apologise for being late. She was pretty moody the whole time, which yes she said she had an ill family member but she still had a job to do, and we had a wedding to get to. She also accused me of having greasy hair which I definitely didn't. It was slightly damp as I had washed it and slept with it wet. She said that this delayed the styling process. My mums hair wasn't damp and she still took forever on her! A good stylist does not blame the clients hair! A good stylist takes criticism and uses it to improve! I guess its pretty obvious that I won't be recommending her or her staff. If they were trained by her then I'm definitely steering clear! Save your money when it comes to this one. Definitely...
