We had ordered a sharing platter for Ā£15, yes thatās right Ā£15 and this is what we got, a block of rock hard cheap chocolate, 2 scoops of ice cream and one piece of brownie. This was advertised as sharing for 2, how is that even possible! And when you pay Ā£15 you expect more for your money. When asked to get a refund the worker said he has to ask the manager who was at the back..once he came out we asked for a refund as we hadnāt even touched the dessert, the manger blatantly refused had no customer service skills at all and spoke to us rudely. He said heāll put extra brownie, we didnāt want this as we were running out of time and asked for a refund but he kept on refusing saying thatās all I can do, when the worker came to pick the plate back up he was actually shouting at the worker to āhurry and bring plate here now.ā This took almost an hour to bring out and when my sister was talking to me about this as we were discussing if it had been an hour the manger shouts out using an aggressive tone āto stop being rude.ā He had no manners at all. The worker bought the plate back with a one quarter of a the brownie displayed and some whipped cream squirted around the plate. Now tell me does that justify paying that much amount of money for?! All I can say is avoid at any cost unless you want to eat a cheap brownie which tastes like a dried up old cake that you can pick up from Iceland for a pound or two and pay Ā£15 for it and a block of rock hard chocolate with some cheap tasting ice cream.. erm definitely no!! Oh and the place is a dingy little place which was dead with no customers in the shop- should have walked out when we got in.
In reply to the manager/owner he does not know what he is talking about as this was a SHARING PLATTER as it was stated in the menu and online, you clearly donāt look at your own menu. Itās not about the hate itās about the principle. I have never come across such an arrogant , argumentative person coming from a customer service background. You need to brush up on your skills!! And gain some experience in how to speak...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis restaurant deliberately delivered food to a person who had hacked into my just eat account and ordered food, despite my contacting them directly (I spoke to Harry) to cancel the order. Initially, I was told that they would cancel the order, and they advised me to contact my bank and cancel my card. However, when I checked my account later, I discovered that the courier had just arrived to pick up the order. I rang the restaurant again to find out what was happening, and to my greatest shock, Harry told me that they had not cancelled the order and that I should contact Just Eat to cancel it, knowing fully well that it would be too late for me to do that. I enquired why I was not advised when I rang earlier to contact Just Eat, and why they took my order number and agreed to cancel my order, but Harry just didn't care and insisted that if I had any problems, I should contact Just Eat. And sure enough by the time I was on the phone to Just Eat, I saw on the app that the courier was actually on their way to the delivery address. This is very dishonest behaviour on the part of the restaurant and clearly they do not have the customer's best interest at heart - They seem to only care for profit, by whichever means. I shall be contacting my bank to raise a dispute and will never have anything to do with this restaurant in the...
Ā Ā Ā Read morešPositive: A small business which is expanding within Birmingham. I believe this their fourth or fifth store that had opened. Inside great decor and furnishings. Very clean and well maintained that's a bonus (compared to others). "In my opinion" - there's nothing different about this dessert parlour compared to others. They all offer same cookie dough's waffles sundaes etc etc with near enough same competitive prices.
šNegative: Im not sure if the staff member i dealt with was manager/supervisor. But he didn't know the menu nor the prices and not even the offers. I asked for a 'special opening price' cookie dough with its voucher. Only to be told its not on offer then asked for another flavour only to be told not on offer. So in the end i managed to order "cookie dough special" which i did get In the end (buy believe it or not the voucher small print states voucher special prices - excludes cookie dough special. So staff need to trained 100% on product knowledge.
Taste was nothing unique or special. For the price they charge you'd expect a little more - portions were not small not large just about right (for the price you pay you'd expect slightly larger portions or...
