Absolutely horrible experience! I went for my lash lift and halal brow package on Saturday 30th September and was charged £95 for a improper brow job and skin cracking and redness accompanied by burning afterwards. I didn't notice anything unusual on the day after I had my services done but the next day I noticed brown patches around both of my eyebrows which looked very unappealing and was definitely not what I paid for. After I messaged them on whatsapp with pictures of the patches they told me this happens to clients and it usually fades away after days or WEEKS. I asked how to make the scabbing less visible and was left on seen for 24 hours and when I sent the message again the next day to which I got a response of "visiting the doctor". The part I was absolutely appalled about was being gaslighted into thinking that I was told about this in the aftercare instructions. The lady I messaged on whatsapp told me she overheard Nazia (the specialist who did my procedure) tell me about the scabbing when she clearly didn't. Even after I asked Nazia to repeat the aftercare she just told me to use vaseline and a eyebrow brush she provided me with to shape my brows and to not get my brows or lashes wet for 24 hours. I am very disappointed with my experience and this place so called "milliondollarlook" when really I experienced a "milliondollarfail". I requested a refund for compensation for such a bad service and I was refused it because apparently my issue was "clearly explained in the appointment". They also blatantly refused apologising to me for the pain...

I had a really disappointing and painful experience at Million Dollar Look in Birmingham on 9th October 2025. I went in for a Halal Brow treatment and lash lift, but both were done incorrectly and caused a bad reaction. Arrived at 12:40 and wasn’t done until 3:30 — almost 3 hours! It made me very late for other things, and when I mentioned it, the lady tried to blame me instead of taking any accountability.

After the appointment, my eyebrows became swollen, sore, and started burning, and my eyes felt painful, swollen and uncomfortable. I had to go to an NHS Urgent Treatment Centre, where I was prescribed medication and creams to treat the chemical irritation.

I contacted them several times afterward, but she ignored my messages, even though she was still active on social media. She also refused to refund me or offer any help.

Another qualified lash and brow technician later examined my brows and lashes and told me that:

It looks like the lash lift tray was not placed properly, which could explain the discomfort and poor results.

Based on the damage and reaction, it also seems likely that hair bleach may have been used instead of brow bleach, which is unsafe for facial use !

This entire experience has been extremely distressing and unprofessional. I spent almost £100 and was left with pain, swelling, and no accountability from the business.
