Our experience at this so called fab restaurant was profoundly disappointing. The first issue was the temperature; it was very cold inside as the heaters were not functioning properly. We had to change our table three times in an attempt to find a warmer spot, which was quite inconvenient.
The food was a significant letdown. The nachos seemed to be of the lowest quality, resembling something like Asda’s Smart Price brand, and they were not even properly cooked. The chicken tikka and lamb chops were dreadful in both taste and presentation.
We realized early on that the meal was not going as expected and requested to cancel our mains. Unfortunately, they were already prepared. The biryani, a classic dish, was unrecognizable in taste and quality, failing to deliver the rich flavors one would expect. The daal was served in a very small bowl, which was not sufficient. The chicken curry seemed like it had been hastily prepared in a microwave, lacking any authentic taste. Lastly, the lamb Achari was a major disappointment as it bore no resemblance to the actual Achari flavor profile.
Overall, this dining experience was a huge letdown, from the ambience to the food quality. The restaurant not only failed to meet basic expectations but also lacked the essence and flavors of the dishes it claimed to offer. Service and Atmosphere:
The service at the restaurant only compounded the disappointing experience. From the outset, the staff seemed inattentive and unprepared to handle basic requests or to address the issues we faced, such as the malfunctioning heaters. The constant need to switch tables due to the cold was met with minimal assistance and no real sense of urgency or concern from the staff.
Additionally, the overall atmosphere of the restaurant did not align with a typical dining experience but felt more like a shisha lounge catering to a younger crowd. It appeared to be a place where teenagers might gather for a quick smoke, perhaps less concerned with the quality of food and more with the social aspect. This ambiance did little to enhance the dining experience and, in fact, further detracted from it.
In conclusion, the combination of poor service, inadequate food quality, and an unsuitable atmosphere made for a thoroughly unsatisfactory visit. It was clear that the focus of this establishment was not on providing a quality dining experience but rather on catering to a specific clientele for whom food might be a secondary concern.

Read moreListen up, folks! If you're even considering stepping foot into this establishment, let me save you the trouble – don't do it. Take a moment to scroll through the sea of one-star reviews, and trust me, every word of it holds true. I made the mistake of not doing my due diligence before tagging along with some friends, and let me tell you, it was a decision I regretted from the moment I walked through the door.
Upon arrival, we were ushered into the waiting area, which, I'll admit, seemed promising at first glance. But any semblance of hope quickly faded as we were herded into the main dining area – a cramped, claustrophobic space that left no room for even a hint of privacy. And things only went downhill from there.
Despite arriving promptly for our reservation and placing our orders within a reasonable timeframe, the wait for our food stretched on for an agonizing hour and a half. Now, you might think we'd be outraged by such incompetence, but we were too busy trying to maintain some semblance of civility during what felt like an eternity of waiting.
When the food finally did arrive, it was a comedy of errors. Wrong orders, missing items – you name it, they messed it up. And don't even get me started on the attitude of the staff, particularly the manager. Rude doesn't even begin to cover it – downright disrespectful is more like it.
But wait, it gets better. Just as we were starting to dig in, barely thirty minutes into our meal, we were unceremoniously informed that we needed to vacate our table because another party had booked the room. Excuse me? We had barely taken a bite, and they were already kicking us out! When we dared to push back, pointing out the absurdity of the situation given the tardiness of our food, the manager simply parroted the same scripted response: "But we have another booking."
Let me tell you, this place is the epitome of unprofessionalism. I wouldn't wish this experience on my worst enemy, let alone my friends. Consider this my heartfelt recommendation to steer clear of this sorry excuse for a restaurant. They may have splurged on flashy marketing and fancy decor, but when it comes to treating their customers with respect and decency, they've missed the mark by a mile. And if you're wondering how they managed to rack up those five-star reviews, well, your guess is as good as mine – because my experience certainly wasn't an isolated incident. Don't say I...
Read moreA friend and I visited for my birthday meal yesterday, and I ended up bruised and disappointed. We waited 45 minutes for our food, the waiter who took our order didn’t know how to work the iPad and had to call someone else over to take our order which took another ten minutes, our drinks arrived after our food, no dry ice as they ran out, and the food itself was pretty average for the price. Credit where it’s due, the signature chips and mocktails were really good. However, the main reason that I am writing this review is because as we went to sit down, I slipped on some food that was on the floor, hurting my arm and knee. A nearby customer came over to ask if I was ok and she even cleaned the floor. A man who I assumed was the manager was initially very awkward about the situation - not what you would expect from management. I understand that these things happen and it’s not anyone’s fault directly, but he could have acknowledged it better and apologised. Instead, he asked if I wanted to move seats (I don’t understand how this makes a difference as the food spill was not directly next to our table?), and then said ‘a kid was eating mashed potato that’s what it was’. One hour later, a waiter cleaned the area where the food was and put a wet floor sign down - someone could have slipped again in that time. After our meal and as we were about to leave, the manager did ask if I wanted ice for my knee and offered a free sheesha (we refused), but it felt insincere and forced as if we were inconveniencing him, and we just wanted to leave at this point. Me slipping on the food wasn’t a good start, but my overall experience could have been rectified with some good service and perhaps the offer of a sheesha/ice pack earlier in my visit. The main reason for my poor review is not me slipping, but the poor service. Only one waiter was friendly and knew what he was doing. I hope you can take on my feedback and implement better customer service skills and measures for spills (wet floor sign out sooner) so that your business can...
