Avoid like the plague!
FAKE REVIEWS The positive reviews directly below mine are fabricated. They magically appeared within a day of me notifying the owner/manager/ex-owner (See next point) that the negative google reviews for her business are describing the same poor experience I’m receiving. She claimed she had no idea she was on google, yet low & behold positive reviews suddenly started to be posted
QUESTIONABLE (DODGY) BUSINESS STRUCTURE The Instagram business previously operating as “Skincare Aesthetics” advertised on social media that they were now under new management and now operating as “Cheavaux Laser”. When I arrived at the premises for my first treatment, the shop front was still called “Skincare Aesthetic” and the previous owner who goes by the same of Aisha a.k.a Natasha arrived to carry out my treatment. During my treatment it came to light that she is still very much involved with managing the business, carry’s out treatment and responds to enquiries/bookings etc. I was given a contract to sign, stating various T’s & C’s, this contract stated that I was entering into an agreement with “SMOOTH” and authorising them to carry out my treatment, Three different names claiming to be one business & provide a service - something smells dodgy here
THE PREMESIS Unclean, dust and fuzz collecting all over the floor. The bed was not sanitised before or after my use, nor was the hand gun to the laser machine. Shutters were down when I arrived for each of my appointments & I had to wait for her arrival to open up. Late both times without an apology. The second time her employee carried out my treatment & she locked us in the clinic & left, leaving us waiting for half hour after the appointment to let me out of the clinic! Trust issues much?
THE TREATMENT I was told to bring my own aloe vera and towels. Natasha / Aisha does not know how to operate a soprano laser system, she was using it as though it’s a single zap IPL style. With soprano you have to keep the hand held gun moving constantly across the surface of the skin and allow it to glide with gel. She was just zapping on dry skin which made it incredibly uncomfortable and ineffective. The second time her employee Shazia treated me. As a person she was a lovely girl and made time go by quickly in conversation. However when she got to my face I kept telling her it was too hot, and I felt my skin sting a number of times. she failed to tell me that she burned my face in three places. I got into my car afterwards and looked in the mirror (there were no mirrors In the dirty salon) and found three holes in my skin. I was in pure agony for the next 10 days and it took 3 weeks In total to heal. However now I have patches of uneven skin tone where I was burned After I healed I contacted the clinic via Instagram (as they didn’t advertise a phone number)to rebook my appointment. I contacted them on SEVEN separate occasions over the course of two weeks to rebook myself in but I kept getting ignored or told to message the following day. By this point I was already apprehensive about receiving treatment by someone who has burned me, and someone else who is incapable of treating effectively. I demanded refund for the 4 remaining sessions out of 6 I paid for. initially I was refused a refund due to the “no refund policy” but the “contract” I signed had no legal standing due to the flaws in its t’s & c’s Natasha finally agreed to do so on the 16th August. She has been drip feeding me my refund with the promise of receiving it all by “Friday” almost every week. today is the 22nd of November and she still hasn’t refunded the full amount. -At one point she sent me voice notes claiming I have given her anxiety and depression since asking for my money back every week and that she didn’t have the money. Yet, she was flashing the cash every weekend on Snapchat dining out at expensive restaurants, in luxury cars and shopping at luxury department stores.

Read moreAbsolutely shocking service! She has burnt my stomach, never apologised or offered a refund or any compensation. Lures clients in with ridiculously low prices but no aftercare or consideration for the customer. She made me wait everytime outside her salon and would open her salon after I arrived delaying my appointment time and day! Again no apology ever. I had six sessions and could not wait to see the last of her. She would always make remarks about my scarred acne skin whilst lasering my skin adding to my insecurities. She does not know how to speak to clients at all. What's more, the salon itself is not clean and on my last session she was lasering my body without offering any eye protective glasses. She also lasered my face despite telling me to not remove my facial hair so she ladered my face with the hair when hair is always to be removed. There's so many more stories but DO NOT SPEND OR WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH...
Read moreI have had 6 sessions of laser hair removal at Skincarelaser . I previously had a few sessions at another clinic and was told by a friend to go to this place as the lady offers great prices on laser hair removal packages. I was totally amazed with the results just after one session my hair was falling out. I have completed a full course of 6 and now purchasing another four my skin feels so amazing as it’s taken all the strawberry effect away. I’m so pleased with the results I...
