Withins Residential Home — Local services in Bolton

After looking for several care homes for my late mother in the Bury area, I came across Withins Home. After taking a tour from one of the staff members, I immediately noticed the great relationship between staff and the residents. After speaking to the manager who was ever so helpful, I decided that Withins was a place for my mother to be cared for. My mother needed end of life care whilst being a resident at Withins and I was overwhelmed with the outstanding care that was given to her. The support that was also given to myself and family was amazing, where the staff showed such compassion and understanding during such a difficult time. The short time that my mother had spent there before passing away, I witnessed not only great care for my mother but to the rest of the residents at this home. The facilities at Withins were second to none and anything needed for my mother, staff was always there to help. I truly believe that the great team had a genuine passion for caring for others and this I believe stemmed from the management also. The manager from start to finish was truly remarkable and handled every situation with utter most professionalism. I just want to convey all my heart felt thanks to this home and was ever so lucky to come across such a beautiful establishment. Withins Care Home... My Mother spent a month short of 2 years there and I visited every day.when she first went in there I expected things to be done regimentally in routines ,but after watching the health cares and seniors run ragged with random things happening falls etc its impossible to do things the way the public would probably expect because all hands on deck situations pop up on a regular basis , the team ,Sam the manager has put together are fabulous,caring loving patient and understanding health cares and great seniors ,the home has been absolutely fantastic in the care of my mother especially the end of life treatment she received and also the love all the staff and the manager /owner Sam showed ,nothing was too much trouble ,the family were treated to fabulous food 24/7 and drinks to help us through our darkest days ,this went on for weeks and my family were treated with love and compassion ,I've had the misfortune of being into quite a few care homes with different family members and Withins Care home is head and shoulders above the rest.massive thanks for everything they did for us and continue to do for...

Wonderful residential home with caring staff and management. Having moved my elderly aunt from London during COVID I worried that my aunt wouldn't settle and would deteriorate in unfamiliar surroundings. I needn't have worried, from arriving with my aunt to today, 4 years later, she is happy and most importantly safe. Staff go out of their way in all aspects of every day life, whether that be at meal times, activity sessions or simply when my aunt is having an off day. I have joined in some brilliant special days, including the queens jubilee party and Christmas days. The attention to detail is spot on.
