We held our daughters 9th Birthday party here recently with 15 of her school friends and cousins. The kids really enjoyed the party which was the only thing that matters really.
Specifically: It was a very easy process from the original booking a few weeks ago to the actual party itself. On the day, signing the waivers, sorting lunch choices, allergies and then socks for all participants was managed by the Insane Air team, which was great. The Party Hostess was happy to help us with setting up the room, which was also a great help. The price was reasonable for the children's activities available. Including the kids meals, socks, one hour play and the party room, it is priced similar to other like for like places in Bradford. They continually topped up the drinks for the kids. The food was brought down on time into the room so the kids could eat on time and we could continue with the party. The party room was very clean, which is usually a downer at most play centres. A big thumbs up to the team here. The food was freshly made for the kids which meant it was nice and warm by the time they started eating, the menu options were great. They allowed a 15 minute grace at the end of the party to finish things as we were running over, we really appreciated this.
The positives: Large play area with lots to do, could easily stay for 2hrs if you have the energy to play. In general the play area and the party rooms are very clean. The organisation and delivery of the event was itself very good so hats off to the girls on the front counter and the Party Hostess who was great help on the day. Lots of parking which is great and an easy location to find for most people. They had the heating on in the entrance so the entire space was nice and warm. They follow health and safety to the letter, with ample staff across the play area to keep an eye on children as well as the naughty adults š
The negatives: The party room is in the entrance with a glass partition and everyone walking past can see in to it, which removes all privacy. Its specifically not nice when other children who you don't know and are not invited to your party are walking past and staring into the fun your party is having. It would be nicer if the glass had a darker tint to it. The girls toilets are quite dark and my Mrs had to go in with each of the girls who needed to go. The boys toilets could do with a more regular clean, but boys will be boys (not nice)
The only reason it scored a 4 out of 5 for me is because of the lack of privacy, otherwise it would definitely score a 5. I know many people would be happy with the way the party rooms are because it allows a lot of natural light but because the party rooms are right in the entrance, everyone coming in to the play centre walks past you and I personally found that less appealing.
Overall a very pleasant experience and I'd certainly recommend booking your children's party here.
To the team, thank you for managing the party as well as you did, even the adults had a good time in...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy daughter and I attended a birthday at this place today and I will not be back . My friend booked this place for her daughter (9) when she rang to make the booking , she was NOT told that to bring outside food for the adults to eat there is a extra charge ...!! So when we were told that the adults couldn't eat the pizza that was bought for us we were upset , to which we explained to the staff that obviously they cater to kids not adults so why cant we eat and clear our rubbish away ? But we were told thats the policy .. after explaining that she was not made aware of this prior to booking he said that's not my fault !!!. Then to top it off another member of staff barged in to the function room and rudely interrupted the current conversation and in a stand off manor basically said that that is that and we cant change it š¤¬š¤¬ apart from the fact she stood arguing with 3 mothers (guests) and the children were entering the room at this point to which they were shocked , myself and another asked her to leave as she was raising her voice in front of all the kids and they were getting upset , customer care 100% GONE , respect for children at a kids party 100% GONE attitude towards customer 100% GONE !!! Appalling isn't the word and I can assure you that between all mothers present we will definitely be letting people know to AVOID this place at all costs The fact that a young lady (staff member ) stood arguing with an elder is disrespectful enough ...!!! All the staff need to at least hit puberty because the kids that were supposedly working today ...haven't got a clue on customer satisfaction never mind how to speak to people or deal with...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVisited here for the first time today. My children aged 5 and 8 loved it - there's a huge variety of different activities to try, much more than your usual trampoline or inflatable park. It was fairly quiet and we didn't eat but the cafe area looked nice enough with lots of choice. The staff were great, really friendly, efficient and most of all, attentive to what was going on while they were supervising.
Couple of things that I wanted to mention - The white 'performance' trampolines at the back. My son goes to proper gymnastic trampoline lessons and is used to using these types of trampoline but wasn't allowed to as he wasn't tall enough. He is much better qualified to use them than his sister who was allowed on them as she's taller. I understand if that's an insurance thing or whatever, But he was tall enough to go on the Wipeout thing which instantly took his legs from under him, he landed on his face and got a nosebleed as a result. He was fine, and continued playing, but I fail to see how that piece of equipment is deemed less dangerous for smaller children than the white trampolines.
And NON-REFUNDABLE lockers? Who does that? I know it's only a pound but come on š my daughter wanted a drink halfway through but I couldn't get her one as I didn't have another pound coin to put my bag back in the locker again afterwards!
Having said those things, the kids did have a fab time and we would...
