Wanted to support a local new business but it's like they tried their best to not have us come back. We ordered our food (a couple of paratha's which shouldn't take long as it's not like cooking a steak fillet). Whilst waiting, i asked 3 times for our table to be cleared. The young girl who clearly had a view that it isn't her role, stuck her nose up and just moved the mess around. Asked her to clear it again as it was still filthy - no attempt to use the spray just a dirty tissue (that should have been the first sign). After 30mins our buzzer rang which was followed by a chef coming out asking to confirm our order (oddest thing I've seen, if something is wrong why not clarify straightaway when I was paying! Even though i confirmed the items 3 times). I was bemused and asked when will the food be out, told it was coming now (no apology for the unprofessional behaviour). Another 10mins passed and I approached staff saying this is ridiculous and was told your food is here and they are bringing it (no apology or a goodwill gesture). Another 10mins past (3 tables that came after us with more ordered had received their food, they too waited 40+mins, one group left who were on their lunch break as it was ridiculously slow - no idea why it looks like so many chefs in the kitchen but barely anything coming out). Now being pretty annoyed I demanded answers and suddenly we saw movement in the kitchen. They clearly hadn't done our food and started taking items from other orders - bizarre business model with no responsibility taken, sorry for your wait comment not good enough when I've complained a few times! Well done for ruining a meal and no doubt my negative word of mouth to others - not exactly the way a business...

I had the pleasure of visiting Paratha Box in Bradford last Sunday with my sister, and I can confidently say it was an experience worth every moment! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed into a warm and inviting atmosphere, with subtle yet homely decor that created a lovely family-friendly vibe.

What stood out immediately was the authenticity of the food, freshly prepared right in front of us by skilled Asian women—so we knew we were in for a real treat. We ordered the paratha with halwa and channay, along with achaari onions and mint chutney as sides. We also tried the cheesy omelette paratha roll, and everything exceeded expectations.

The paratha was perfectly crispy, just the way it should be. The halwa was silky smooth, not overly sweet, and balanced beautifully with the medium-spiced channay curry. The achaari onions and mint chutney added the perfect finishing touch to the meal. The cheesy omelette paratha roll was another highlight—generously filled, with a satisfying cheese pull and expertly spiced omelette that tied all the flavors together.

To top it all off, we enjoyed a karak chai, which was perfectly balanced—not too heavy on sugar or spices, making it the ideal end to our meal.

The service was absolutely faultless, with friendly and attentive staff making sure we had everything we needed. Seating was comfortable, though the space can get quite busy—which is no surprise given how exceptional the food is!
