Evettes One Love — Restaurant in Bradford

I've been to Evettes a few times now. Every time the quality has been amazing. The portion sizes are great. The taste is really something else. The jerk chicken is quite possibly the best chicken I've ever had - cooked to perfection. Perfect amount of spice balanced with a beautiful sweetness . The curried goat is amazing and has the right balance of flavour and spice. It is slow cooked and tender. I am not one to leave reviews. However, I've been multiple times now and every time I am just blown away with how great it tastes. I've since bought it for multiple friends who have all loved the taste. One saying that it is unique in the combination and balance of flavours. Great comfort food that you won't find anywhere else for the price. Evette is also very friendly. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I’ve always loved Evette’s food from young so it’s great to see she has setup a restaurant/takeaway! The food is so tasty and clearly made from love - definitely trying it again.

If you’re in the mood for some authentic Jamaican cuisine, I’d really recommend trying the curry goat, rice and peas and the curried chicken! So yummy!

We were so full, so she promptly gave us takeaway boxes. She was very attentive throughout too, and the attention to detail was on point.

I got the curried mutton & it was delicious! I ate a large portion last night as I was starving by the time I got to Inverness & I will eat the second one when I get home tonight with a big glass of wine. There are a few tables if you want to sit in & eat or just pop in & takeaway. It was a lovely atmosphere with nothing but smiles & blethering away to her lovely family who were so friendly too. It’s not far off the M62 onto the M606 so it’s worth a detour as I did, & wasn’t disappointed....
