This was the first takeaway we got visiting Bristol and it was the biggest joke I have ever experienced.

Every single dish was sweet. Unhealthily sweet. It was uneatable and everything we tried to eat we had to wash down with pickles.

When I called and complained, they told me that’s how they prepared dishes and there’s nothing they can do about it. What. A. Joke. You scam us out of almost 20 quid for an ‘Indian’ takeaway that was just sugar on top of everything, even the bloody naan was sweet with bits of shredded chilli poked in to pass as ‘chilli naan’??? I’m telling you as an Asian, this is not Indian food- this is awful. Never ever touching this place again and so upset and angry I spent a good chunk on them to receive the blandest and sweetest food I have ever had. No compensation, no help, just lectured me on how Korma is meant to taste sweet and mild. LOL mate Tescos microwave Korma is tastier than this and not even near as sweet as this. Crazy...

I ordered here fairly late with 30 minutes to close and they were nice enough to accept my order.

I ordered the £10 deal which includes 2 large onion bhajis, a main, rice or naan and a drink, mine was a lamb vindaloo with rice.

First of all the value is pretty decent, it was a decent portion and really good amount of food for the price. The bhajis were standard but still enjoyable, lamb vindaloo was really good with soft lamb and lots of meat. The deal includes a coke but the man on the phone very kindly said I could exchange it for a Rio.

Overall great experience and I'd definitely recommend - nice food, good service...

Try to avoid using their delivery if possible. We've had multiple deliveries arrived late (30+ mins after proposed time). On one occasion the driver totally forgot they had our order abs drove back to the shop with it. They did try to make up for this by making the food again and delivering it but as we needed to feed the family it didn't really help.

We decided to not use them again for a while, but then tried again 4 years later and they still managed to fail to deliver.
