Appalling experience this evening. Rang a telephone order through, partner went to collect, was told that the order waiting on the counter wasn't ours, so queued for 10 minutes and was eventually told the order was ours (now lukewarm at best). Add to that we had asked for the peas to be put in pots which was done on one meal but not the other, resulting in a soggy haddock, pea, chip and paper slop. The meals and service were disgusting, £20 approximately and most went in the bin. Shout out to the poor young lady assistant who couldn't apologise enough and was left to take the flack. We used to be almost weekly regulars at this shop and loved the food. However the past couple of months the quality of the food has gone downhill especially the chips. We have noticed it’s someone different on the chips and since this they have not been nice. The chips are always undercooked, soggy and some are hard still. We have continued to have to order from here in the hope it would improve back to its previous standards but unfortunately this has not happened and we will now be going elsewhere. Decided to treat my husband and daughter to a kebab so called in about 7pm last night friday 20th June only 1 person in so not busy. I ordered 2 chicken tikka and donar mix on pitta and 1 plane donar on a pitta. When I got home to Long Eaton and opened the food 2 kebabs were donar meat only and no chicken tikka! I don't understand how this was wrong as the lady behind the counter wrote the order down! Very disappointed as the food is always lovely and id like to get what ive paid for at a cost of £26 buying food out is very expensive for 3 kebabs. won't be going back...
