Our first visit to Gurkha Curry Nights - for lunch today. Dila Gautam gave us a friendly welcome and showed us to our table. We had Popadum & pickles tray while waiting for our orders to be prepared. My wife had Meat Momo dumplings to start followed by Chicken Rum Rum with a Peshwari Naan, and enjoyed both. I started with a Prawn Puri, then Gurkhali Mixed Kadahi with Pilau rice. Delicious! We shared a Kulfi ice cream to finish. We'd recommend any or all fo the dishes we had! Service was prompt and attentive to check we were happy with the dishes we'd ordered. Hope to be back whenever we're in the area!

Wonderful coeliac friendly restaurant. Staff were excellent - I rang to order takeaway and was immediately passed to the manager who talked me through their processes and areas of possible contamination risk, including telling me that their popadoms are supposed to be GF but prepared off site. He then checked with the chef before coming back and confirming which dishes were ok. No ill effects after our meal which was delicious. The house specials were particularly tasty but double check because they don’t all come with rice and naan as the online menu suggests.

Low prices, great food, friendly service and a traditional atmosphere. Four of us had beers and a bottle of wine to share, plus naan and poppadoms with main meals for less £80. A relatively large restaurant to the east of Stapleford, just up from the Horse and Jockey pub. Some classic indian curries plus some Gurkha themed dishes. Slightly sweet style, very reminiscent of the now closed Bengal Spice in Long Eaton.

It's a shame the take away service is not as good as the service in the restaurant. Ordered the food at 20:04, expected delivery between 20:40-21:00. We got an update that the delivery was on its way at 20:52. We called at 21:20 because the Just Eat app was showing as delivered, turns out the order was not even ready, they said it will be another 20min.

Well it is 22:00hrs the order is not here but we can't cancel it because the app is showing the food was delivered, what a disgrace and huge dissatisfaction with the service. We have been trying to contact the restaurant for the last 10 min and they are not even bother to answer the phone.

Update: they delivered the food at 22:16 and...
