Totally chaotic! The door labelled as the entry is as far away from the till as you can get. You have to wade through the people who have already ordered, place your order at the till and then move back into the crowd of people waiting to collect their orders. Too many orders being put through the till, at the same time - the team preparing the food are not able to keep up, which results in orders becoming backed up. By far the worst part of the experience is having random items called out for the intended recipient to select their salad......when none of the customers respond because they're not sure if it is their item, the staff give you a look as if to say "we're calling your order", so you claim the item and select your salad, only to find out that it's not your order (and being made to feel by the staff that it is your fault for getting it wrong). Rumbles - I would suggest you provide customers with order numbers and then you just call out the number......avoids any awkwardness for the customers. Wouldn't take much to implement - invest in a book of raffle tickets, give one ticket to the customer and staple the corresponding ticket to the receipt. The result would be less chaos, no confusion for staff or customers, and a much smoother...
Read moreClean place unlike some kebab takeaway joints which literally stink. Blokes behind the counter are friendly. Can use cash or card - both fine. It's really a takeaway mostly; there's one table and a 2 or 3 chairs around it but that's it. There's a big grassy area in the front though. So i believe in non COVID times you could sprawl there and eat like picnic (it's no great picnic area though lol).
The kebabs were awesome ! Paid £15 something for all mixed kebabs where you get a skewer of each variety, salad and 2 breads.
There's on street parking around the area but usually full of parked cars. There are alleys where the residents park, so if you are there for 10-15 mins or so you can park in...
Read moreI do enjoy the food from here both on the F&C side as well as the Kebab side. Decent portions, fresh salad and fairly priced too. Usually I pop the chips in the oven for an extra 10 mins and they come out nice, crisp and hot. Only negatives are 1) too many people in there at one time. There is a sign restricting numbers but sometimes 6 or 7 waiting inside (no it was not raining) and added delivery guys coming in and out also. 2) Chef on the Kebab side wears his mask round his chin. I know masks are hot and uncomfortable but I can't return until covid is a much smaller issue. I have vulnerable people in...
