This apartment looked great in the photos so we thought it would suit us for a short 3 night stay , my husband need a quiet rest |As recovering from traumatic surgery recently |What we found was not what we’re expecting |Firstly there was food left in the sink by previous guest and not cleaned |The bed was hard and uncomfortable |The shower flooded over the tray out into the bathroom under the door into the bedroom soaking everything including my bag of clothes on the floor |I didn’t realise until too late |I contacted owner via booking agent |But after an hour and half we decided to leave and got ourselves into a premier inn , I needed to ensure my husband was comfortable . I spoke to host on the phone |And had a several messages with her , in which she would agree to refund one night not the two we weren’t using , so I declined her offer of one night and claimed back our money via my credit card |There are several issues here , |The property was sub standard, poorly maintained and cleaned, with damp in the wall in lounger area , the handling of our complaint was dealt with poorly |After we left the lady said a plumber and her husband could find no issue with the shower , so how come ‘Nigel’s review on here came after our stay ? The apartment we stayed in (Holst) was lovely. Very well presented and well kept, and not too hot or cold. Roomy. enough and also cosy enough for a couple's getaway for a few nights. A good, quiet area to stay in if you're visiting Cheltenham or the surrounding areas. The people who run the apartments are also very friendly indeed and are on hand via telephone if you need anything.

Only thing to note is that it'd be nice if the apartments came with some small shower gels and shampoos in the bathroom, as we weren't aware these wouldn't be included when we stayed, so we didn't pack any and had to nip out and get some. Other than that, the stay was perfect! And we'd most...

We stayed for four nights in Beale, which is an apartment on the ground floor of Beechurst. Only four minutes from junction 11 of the M5, the house is situated on a quiet lane ajacent to excellent walking countryside and only ten minutes from the centre of Cheltenham. The apartment was well-decorated and fitted-out, the rooms (separate lounge/kitchen, bedroom and shower/toilet) were spacoius, airy and well-heated.
