Quicker to be served than McDonald's, took cash payments before McDonald's did, tastier food than McDonald's. Don't get sent to wait in a car park for your food after ordering with nowhere to park. HOWEVER!!! I would give 5 stars if... They didn't keep getting my orders wrong and wasn't lairy when I question it, forgetting to put my dips in literally every time I go there, and when my card didn't work in the machine one time I went into the shop to order again, was visible to staff I was waiting, nobody came to see me yet a delivery guy came in and he was tended to straight away. I understand if certain staff deal with certain things but could have at least came and said that someone would be with me at some point. I had to leave the shop and back thru the drive thru. I find the staff can be quite ignorant at times and have to ask staff to clean an area I would like to sit and eat at. I've never complained about any of this before as understand completely having worked in food retail myself plus they're busy and these are trying times. However because of covid I visit daily so the fact I do not leave the pay window until I've checked my food, ask for what's missing and its still happening plus some staff not all are not very nice to me when tho happens, I find the need to say something. Read moreWent to the drive through at 22:55 this evening. Just wanted two drinks WITH ICE to cool down. Had warm fizzy drink at home but particularly wanted it really cold. "We haven't got no ice at the moment" - not coherent English for a start. How can you have no ice? We're not in Africa 30 miles from the nearest water supply; we have water on tap. So either the machine was broken (she didn't say so) or more likely they had already cleaned out the machine hoping to get out bang on 11pm. Granted I did go there 5 minutes before close but they should not close down machines until the close time has been reached - if they advertise a close time of 11pm then I should be able to order any item from the menu till 11pm. If they hate working there so much that they aren't willing to leave a little late then why don't they get another job? Anyway it's fine by me I just told them to cancel the order and went to a shop to get ice and pepsi and I'll not go to that KFC again in the future. Classic short sighted behaviour of corporate companies where the employees don't care because they get paid at the end of the day either way. Yet the company should stop staff from cutting these corners. All because of a bit of ice I'll not go there - good business...
Read moreOrdered a krushem. Screen showed it as ready after 2 minutes, but nobody even started making it until I asked for a refund 6 minutes later.
The reason I asked for a refund is because I watched someone get their crushems within seconds of ordering, well after I'd ordered mine, and still nobody had yet started making mine. Nobody likes seeing someone who came second get served first.
Showing orders that have not been filled as "ready," on the screen, is something fast food restaurants do in order to fudge the numbers and make the store appear to be performing way better than it actually is. I do not appreciate the dishonesty here.
Edit, in response to KFC's reply: It's not even strictly the wait time itself. It's the injustice of seeing someone who ordered a good while after you, getting their order filled instantly. I would also see staff standing around doing nothing for moments at a time, knowing my order is there, waiting, and super easy to fill.
