Great shop and good customer service when ordering our new sofa which we absolutely adore but the reason for the 3 stars was the delivery. Our sofa was delivered on Saturday 19th when it was a rainy day. We were informed by the gentleman who served us that the sofa comes in a box but it turned up not only not in a box but with no packaging around it at all to protect the sofa! We didn't anticipate the heaviness of the sofa when it was delivered so had to urgently call a friend to help bring the sofa in the house and during waiting for our friend - the sofa was on our driveway getting wet from the rain. Pregnant and stressed, I ran to get duvets and towels to cover it from the rain but our new £1,699.00 sofa was brought into our house drenched from the rain when our friend did eventually arrive. How can a brand new sofa be delivered with absolutely no packaging to protect it from the weather and on deliveries? Not even a plastic sheet? Very dissapointed by this and expected some sort of protection on the sofa considering the price. Yes we opted for the free delivery but did not expect (A) the sofa to be ridiculously heavy and (B) have 0 protection covering it. Even if we did pay the free for the delivery men to bring it into the house - it still would have got wet...

Good furniture here but went up to the desk to ask a guy if they could help me. i said about table chairs he said all down the bottom being partly disabled not really. Bothered. Thats dreadfull . .had a look around saw nice table. Chairs this 2. Guy was very helpful. I said yes. To them but I needed them sat but because the table had to be. Set up I couldn't wait till the following week so I said sorry i havent got a table but need one. Quite. Quickly the chairs were ready. All that had to do was bring the table. Top in fix the bottom i said i would pay for. It thats not rocket science surely . So will I go HERE. again NO WAY ))).. Unfortunately I spend my money. In Stanway ))), but. most unhelpful the first guy at the desk . You will lose money you need to do...

Edit to reply. Please read the review, I have contact the store multiple times. They have the email of the damage. No the glass shattered into sharp large peaces.

I’ve been trying to resolve an issue with my fire pit table, which clearly isn’t fit for purpose. The glass surrounding the fire pit cracked within just 10 minutes of it being turned on, sending tiny shards of glass all over the table — a serious safety hazard.

I’ve contacted the Colchester store multiple times, and every time I’m told, “We’ll get someone to call you back.” That call never happens. The customer service has been absolutely terrible — unhelpful, unresponsive, and dismissive.
