I normally dont give negative reviews but I am giving this so you can improve your service. The Grocery part of the shop is fine so is the meat but the food experience with newly opened Savoury and Sweets part was horrible. I have been using Kalma foods for past 1 year. 1: The Breakfast and the Snacks ( Chappl kebab, Chicken and lamb rolls and Alo tikki were all frozen food heated from the packets. Parathas were frozen parathas that are sold packed in supermarkets . Chappl kebab was same frozen from their own shop frozen section packets . Chicken and lamb rolls had frozen reheated kebab in the middle with a breaded layer over it.The smell was so strange. Me and mywife developed diarhea and severe reflux after eating this food. I am giving this feedback so that you can realize what you are doing wrong. It was more easy for me to take those frozen packets from the freezer and re heat at home , been doing for years. I bought all this coz I thought they were freshly cooked authentic and made in your own shop but sadly that was not the case. only chicken pakoras were fresh but the taste wasnt great. If you want this part of your shop to succeed then its better you do freshly made snacks.
2; coming on to the meat section, I will like to give positive feedback as lately the staff has started to weight and properly tell you the price of the meat/chicken you are buying . previously it was so haphazard. Its good the customers know whats the cost of products they are buying . i will recommend issuing a proper receipt at the meat section counter as well listing what you have bought.
At your main counter , sometimes I have noticed a product is entered as separate and the name doesnt show up. Often after coming home i notice the separate charge for the product given is more than the cost of the product . I am not sure why instead of scanning and putting the product on receipt do the till staff wants to put entry as generic and self enter the price . You need to look into these.

It has been more than three times over a year where the frozen/dairy produce is either rotten or inedible. Every time you try to return the the item you are questioned like it is your fault and not the shops fault for selling packaged items that are rotten. My dad went to return frozen rotten herbs pack during the month of Ramadan on a Friday, he was questioned many times that the herbs are not rotten instead of a straightforward apology. He told me he was escorted around the shop where they inspected other packs in their freezer to confirm, whilst he was getting late for his Jumma prayers. Few months ago, I have had to throw two large packs of Paneer because they smelled rotten and were well within the best before date, I did not take it back because I knew the questionable discussion they will have on return like it is my fault their items are inedible. Read moreThe store is very well stocked. Me and my wife first went to the green section to buy some fruit and veggies. As we were looking at the green chillies, one of the staff approached us with a fresh carton of chillies and told us to take it from that carton. Very thoughtful and helpful, we thought. After that we walked through the different aisles and did our shopping. We came to the tills and paid for our shopping. We put all the purchase in the carrier bags and left the store happy and satisfied. When we reached our home we found that a jar of garlic paste was missing. We checked the receipt and it had been paid for. We must have forgotten that jar on the till. At the time of our shopping; it was a Sunday morning around 10:45 and it was not busy. After the shopping we were in the car park to put away all our stuff and as it was snowing it made things a bit slow. My concern is, that the staff at the till should have shown more responsibility and on finding that jar on the till should have followed us in the car park to hand it over to us.
