I came today with a friend to eat at this restaurant and was disgusted. There are no social distancing measures in place and everyone is seated close together. Masks are also not worn by staff members either.
First we were standing at the door for about 10 minutes waiting for the waiters to acknowledge us, greet us and take us to our seating area but we were ignored!
Secondly when we did finally get to sit down, we were waiting for ages for someone to come take our order and there was even a family who had come after us, got served their food and left before we even got served ours!
However the tip of the iceberg was the uncooked lamb chops! All chops were pink and a bit bloody inside. So we called the waiter over and he started shouting at me without giving me a chance to speak saying they were supposed to be like that. I told him to listen to me as I'm a customer, I told him I had no issues with paying but please do not serve them to anyone else like this!
He then asked us to speak to the chef who actually confirmed they werent cooked and he would make us some more!! The waiter then said sometimes if the restaurant is busy, the food is not cooked properly!!! Wow, he has completely humiliated the owner!!
The new chops which came were also pink and uncooked inside! We were made to pay full price and no apology from anyone!!
Waiters have an attitude problem and I'm not sure why as they are illegal immigrants and probably dont even have the right to work in the UK.
I'm dreading the side effects which will follow from that uncooked lamb!!! I wouldnt recommend this...
Read moreMy friends have been banging on about this place for weeks . Thought I would try it for myself. We had steaks salad chips n stuff . Place had a nice feel to it. (even bumped into some old friends) the steaks were flavoursome we had the T bone. (Though I would specify if you wanted them rare as they come well done by default) Their salads were probably the best I've had around these ends and came with feta & olives and was seasoned well. Served with french fries which were crispy and we ordered humous with bread too. Very nice.. waiters were smart and polite and the restaurant even catered for sisters that wore burka by providing them with a partition so they could eat in peace with their families . Prayer mats were also available with ample praying area. No alcohol served and full HMC . Sounds good eh?? Seriously I'm a heavy critic read my other reviews.
Anyway I wanna give this place 5 stars but I'm limited to 4 as I was let down by the men's toilet. It wasn't clean enough in what is such a nice restaurant the loo was a bit err... wet... And the sink looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a few days. So yeah employ a cleaner. Anyway put that aside .I would reccomend this place and I'm going again soon and if you are reading this then i hope...
Read moreFirst time here for me, run down area but has it's own car park which is good as was worried my car would be stolen based on the shady characters all hanging out near the restaurant. We ordered a chicken karahi and was told it will take 45 mins to cook, we said happy to wait and then the waiter came and said a lamb karahi order had been cancelled and we can have that instead, I said let's do it. But it wasn't the standard Lahori karahi but charsi (salt and green peppers) not really my ideal taste but went for it. The sauces that came with the salads were really good (red chutney and yogurt based sauce) these were the highlights! I was disappointed with the karahi the meat was soft but very high in fat and mainly bones left as rest had dissolved into the source. We ordered two naans but would recommend just one as they are huge! Also ordered seekh kebabs which came with some pretty boring rice to be honest and the kebabs were nothing amazing.the table water came in nice bottle and was very cold and nice. Cash only so lucky my friend had cash as I didn't. Overall not a bad experience but I personally wouldn't...
