Peri peri original — Local services in Coventry

This place was amazing prior to my last visit so its with a heavy heart that I say I will definitely not be going back.

I believe its changed hands recently as I didn't recognise anybody serving and the service received over the phone when ordering was shocking.

The man barely understood me and it was fact by the food I received!

I pretty much order a mix of grilled chicken dishes on every visit however, what I received on my last visit can only be described as 'cremated'. The rice box was mushy clumpy of rice which was definitely not edible and the fries looked reheated several times.

My order should have been just over £8, however the kind man behind the counter generated a bill for £10+ but said "give me ten, its ok".

All the food went into the bin and its safe to say I will certainly not be using this...

Ordered food previously from them several times in the past but not sure why it's different this time.

Chicken was burned heavily and hard to eat. Asked for a mild spice to it and it was overly spicy. Much spicier than usual.

The sauce was leaking in the bag as I took it home. The pitta bread was stale and hard.

The chips were soggy but that can happen sometimes when you take food home. The bad thing about them were they were so salty. I needed at least 2 to 3 glasses of water to overcome the saltiness.

Spoken to the manager on the phone to explain how food was overly spicy and burned. He refused to do anything at all. 'You've taken the food home now so what do you want me to do?' Unhelpful and so rude. I work in the service industry too and have never spoken to customers like this at all.

Giving my honest review have been going to this place for a year now I have tried almost everything in there menu and loved it all my most favourite is there pizzas 🍕 ,double cheese burger and masala fish on nana and on rice .
