Charterhouse Field — Attraction in Coventry

Many Organisations, such as the local school, have applied for planning permission on this field but the wonderful and courageous locals have continuously managed to save the area! I've never seen such love for a piece of land in my life - they have group picnics and regular 'clean ups'. After visiting the site however, I understand why it means so much, it is gorgeous and relaxing. There's such few green spaces in the area that it's so important to preserve...

Played rounders, there's about 4 rounders pitches, one cricket, some posts for a football pitch and a basketball court. Had a really fun time, the grass was freshly mowed so we could see the pitch. Will be returning soon...
