McDonalds — Restaurant in Coventry

I always want to write good things about McDonalds. However, it always seems to be a different experience in every restaurant I visit. I really believe it stems from the management and how happy the employees are in that given restaurant. And that is what ultimately filters down to our own experiences. For example, this certain restaurant has been recently opened within the past 2 years. Within that time, it has gone through multiple managers and staff. The online orders are not good, from cold food, late orders, items missing, and even sometimes not delivered. I myself have experienced some of these issues. Because of that reason, I will never order online anymore. However, I went shopping at Asda, was a bit peckish, and decided to grab a quick bite to eat. It's was around lunchtime, the restaurant was very busy. I managed to find a table that somebody left messy with food on the table and floor.. before I got to the table, a lady immediately began to clean the surfaces and floor. Because it was so busy, I ordered table service. I ordered a large philly cheese stack, It was bought to me within 5 minutes! The food was well made, and the fries were the hottest I'd ever had. The coke was full to the top and even had ice. The staff were rushed off their feet with the lunchtime rush, yet still had smiles on their faces and were on top of everything. I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't expect the efficiency and promptness of everything. A very refreshing experience and will definitely go back again. I hope this is the standards all Mcdonalds restaurant should...

Went to the petrol station at Asda and thought I'd swing by McDonalds while I was there as it was next door. Went to the drive thru, paid at window 1, went to window 2 to get my drink (which was wrong), got told by a chavy young lady "go to the next 1 init", so I pulled forward to window 3. No exaggeration, I was sat at window 3 for a solid 15 minutes. Cars were getting their food from window 2 and leaving. I was just sat there at window 3. My order wasn't anything special either, literally 2 single cheeseburgers and a banana milkshake (I was given chocolate). After 15 minutes, a young lad came to the window. I'm not sure if he was a mute or what was up with this chap but there were no words, he just handed the bag over. I looked inside and seen just 1 cheeseburger. I looked up and he had already vanished. I sat there for another 5 mins before someone else walked by the window, I got his attention by beeping. He asked what was wrong and I told him I've been given the wrong drink and only half of my order. To be fair to this guy he fetched me the other burger and told me they had run out of banana flavouring that's why I had been given chocolate.

Overall not a very good experience. I've been to this store on London Road a few times since its opened and there has never been an issue. Maybe this is a one off or maybe this is just a late shift problem. Either way I think in future I will just go to the one on Holyhead...

Ordered on delivery , never showed up called and spoke to a guy that worked there , refused me my food, I said I’ll come and collect it myself then and he hung up the phone on me. Absolutely rude staff and manager I eventually did go down there and was still refused my food that I had paid £28 for and because an Uber driver stole it I can’t get my food. Uber eats lines were closed and so were there lines to talk to staff, you can’t leave a voicemail , my partner has now has to crab some food from somewhere else as we ordered due to being busy , they said they couldn’t refund my order, this mc Donald’s didn’t even have the decency to make our food for us. Waste of money and time do not go here. You won’t get your food 😂and no one is decent enough to talk with you and when you try to contact them via there website you can’t fill out a form.
