Warwick Students' Union — Local services in Coventry

I'm usually not a friend of unions. They can have a really disruptive effect on business and most unionists have never sat in a class on business and free market democracy (the best democracy IMHO). BUT: The Warwick SU people are true entrepreneurs. They know how to make money and capitalise on the success of the wonderful and truly global Warwick brand. Essentially, this is a student union without all the politics bullshit. A true model for other unions - especially the UCU, which is run inefficiently and full of whiny commies. I even got some free condoms and lube off of them. I would suggest that Warwick starts producing branded condoms and toys and SELL them. p.s.: the SU elections were a great time to be on campus. A terrible oragnisation that does not exist to serve the students of the University of Warwick. Our club members have to pay almost £100 to join and the club only recieves a measly £6 per person back in funding.
