Read moreTerrible.. staff helped when needed but only seemed to be 2 guys really "working" the rest were to busy socialising with each other!.. The one did keep coming out when things messed up.. after at first checking with the other guy.. who I guess was a manager.
I ordered some food to have whilst we were bowling (it's a Christmas eve tradition to go bowling with the family) as I was starving!.. waited for a good 40 mins.. finished the games, and played a few arcade games, I then thought I best see where my food was as it had been so long.. so whilst I was waiting.. at the empty bar may I add.., another member from our family party was a mask waiting.. and another!.. as the machines kept breaking!.. I had my money back for food, although I was told they don't do refunds but they will do a cash refund on this occasion as the order didn't go through to the kitchen! But my cousins didn't get the money back from the machines that were broke, as they had already done their "max refunds for the day"!! Is what we were told, but they could give us 20 tickets instead of each £1 we put in the games.. "wow".. not very good at all! All of this was on top of them messing up when we arrived, the screens etc!..
Have gone there every year since it opened for family Xmas eve.. won't be wasting our money...
Read moreThis place has recently been run down looking a bit old and worn. Went with a party of 8 children to use the amusement machines with a big bag of 1p pieces that my son had saved up to use, after looking around for a working coin changer o went to the desk where I asked if it would be possible for them to change them into 2 or 5 p pieces. The girl sent me to the other side of the arcade as she said there was a changer machine there but after going there I realised there wasn't . After going back and waiting another 10 minutes I asked again if someone could change this money so we could spend it as no machines in the premises used 1p . The girl made it pretty clear that no change would be given . I think this is disgusting and I have now realised that this is a badly run place with the assistant manager running around trying to work out there antiquated bowling and laser quest booking sheets . I will never set foot on this place again and yes you the manager I can't remember your name I will report you to your head office as your attitude when I spoke to you sucked. I hope someone incharge of this place sees this and gets the management sorted as it was a great place to visit but sadly...
