Rock Mill Peak District | Luxury Holiday Apartments — Local services in Derbyshire Dales

Honestly, a pretty good place to sleep and rest up while traveling the UK! We used it as a central place while we day-tripped around Peak District, Lake District, and the norther region of England, and it was great! It was so cool to watch climbers scale the rock formation in front of our window! Pretty easy to pick up the key and get in and out. Checkout was easy peasy and the location is very accessible.

I'll note that when booking, make sure to take some care when selecting a room. We booked a 1 bedroom, no balcony room. Our room was much smaller than anticipated, but not terribly so. The photos in the reviews here show that there are definitely some larger accommodations! Just be mindful.

Also note that this hotel is in the National Park, so there was a heavy amount of spiders throughout the stairwell and our room. I have a healthy fear of spiders, so it had me paranoid, but just pack some peppermint oil to deter them away without issue!

Did notice some weird stains on the rug and couch, and then a hole in the wall, which were put offs. But the bathroom was clean and perfect and the shower was great, the bed was comfy, and we enjoyed our stay! Would come...

We stayed here for two nights and absolutely loved it. The location is perfect…. peaceful, beautiful, and close to everything we needed. The apartment itself was very clean and super comfy. Honestly, one of the best holiday apartments I’ve ever stayed in!

They’ve thought of everything … from full kitchen utensils to board games for family fun. It really felt like a home away from home.
