Louise @ The Gel Studio is absolutely amazing! I reached out to her asking for HEMA free products, in particular HEMA free acrylic as the builder gel I was previously using with a different nail artist was not holding up, lifting after a week even after cuticle oiling everyday. She didn’t do HEMA free acrylic but all her products are either low HEMA or HEMA free and she explained what products would suit me best after showing her photos from my nail journey in which my nail bed had come away from my nail. She managed to fit me in as a client even with her full books and also explained what products would most suit me. This was all over Facebook messenger on a Sunday! What a star! Then the appointment itself, she was welcoming and make sure that she used new equipment for me to limit cross contamination due to my HEMA allergy. Talk about going above and beyond customer service! I’m so happy I reached out and I can’t wait my regular appointments with her and to have healthy, beautiful nails again especially for my wedding.

I have had my nails done twice by Louise, the second time just recently was at her new garden salon. The salon is such a great space, very clean and Louise has taken every precaution for her clients during this time. She has a great range of colours and nail art available and does a fantastic job.
