18/08/24 We attended the Sunday evening of the Gosport waterfront festival which was well organised and a good line up of music. And a really decent price for a drink no ludicrous price hikes for a beer £6.00 a pint a bit more than the pub but not the £8 to 10 I have paid at other festivals this summer. All in all a good experience only down side was the thunderboxes or honey pots what ever you like to call them were awful but that is my only complaint

The cafe here is very good. Wed-Sun. North lake is weedy but not too bad, nowhere near as bad as Canoe lake Southsea. It's a good facility 100m x50m and about 2 feet deep. If you are careful to avoid the weed, it's great for RC boating. For RC yachts, the south lake is better, but afternoons only as the club uses it every morning for competitions. If that's your thing then best join the club. Fareham Borough Council website or Facebook for full details.

went here the weekend as Circus Zyair was in town! and great show (not as good as last year mind) but located on Walpole Park which I would imagine is a nice little park any other day. with Gosport High-street just across the road that has eateries, plenty of parking the other side along with the boating pond which is a nice little walk. Great place for a dog walk.

It's a pond! Good place for RC boats although in weekends and here are some chaps with expensive looking sailing boats so best to go later in afternoon (they are there in the morning) also, it's quite funny to watch them as they get quite carried away with their sailing activities.
