I struggle with social anxiety and I do tend to target shopping in the last 30 to 45 minutes of opening hours mainly due to there minimal customers, i didn't get there until about 25 minutes to closing time. I did have some problems whilst that the Checkout for instance my partner's transfer didn't go through until I called to tell him how much( yes I know it's game playing). However the only tools open myself serve and the supervising member of staff recognized my distress and was very accommodated unfortunately as I was walking towards the exit she had already left the area so I never got to thank her personally which I will do if I see her on my next visit this is my favorite Aldi of my city and it's probably the third time and member of staff has gone above and beyond their duties and in comparison to other outlets compared to the Chellaston one or the one at the meat is centre I would and do go out of my way to attend the Harvey Road Aldi. To any Aldi staff based at how Harvey Road, I applaud you for your customer service skills and your observations to the little details of any customer that is hiding they're struggles. Read moreFirst of all I would like to make a complaint about the Rude member of Staff Named Stephen who was outside today barking orders at people, He had no manners what so ever and under these circumstances his whole attitude quite frankly STANK!! I was by no means the only one to of thought so either!!🙄🙄No please no Thankyou No politeness to customers at all, One little Hitler is how I would describe him!! I had to stay outside whilst my partner went shopping baring in mind I'm on crutches and can't carry shopping on my own ,I also suffer with anxiety which wasn't helpful when Stephen was being VERY RUDE!! My partners experience wasn't the best in their today either as the social distancing DID NOT WORK INSIDE the store!! People were still barging past each other despite the Social distancing LAW!! This is why I hear by give you a 3star and not a 5 as today was VERY...
Read moreAs all ways the trip down to Aldi started like it always does, looking for a spot with adequate space to get my son in and out of the car as there was people parking in the parent and child bays with out children with them.
Inside the store was ok I guess for as far as supermarkets go, found everything we had popped in for easily, the only grumble I could have was the cage full of empty shelf packaging dumped in the middle of the meat isle causing a people to have to squeeze by.
The fellow on the check out was polite and didn't mess around scanning our shopping, he was quite fast and efficient, where as some sit and think its ok to socialise with there colleges 2 check outa down. He did how ever struggle a bit with my brumy accent as most people in derby do.
All in all though this store delivers exactly what you would expect in...
