Absolutely disgusting attitude by both staff members. I first stopped at the ordering point. No one answered, and as I pulled off to order at the window I heard a voice, unfortunately I was now passed and couldn't stop without reversing. I wasn't expecting the reception I got at the window. I was sarcastically asked to go back to the ordering point. I then polity refused do to the heat of that day. I was then told the ordering at the window mucks up their system. No one else in the queue though. I was so disgusted I returned and placed a order at the ordering point. This time it was answered quickly and I was met by some man who asked me if there was anything else. I asked for the name of the girl who served me so I could have name to place a complaint to their customer service department. I was told under GDPR that information wasn't allowed to be given out. ( Even though it's clearly on their uniforms). I asked to see a manger and was then told the gentleman who I was actually speaking to was in fact the assistant manager called Stewart who then said he was also declining my order and shut the window abruptly on me, Seriously is this what sort of attitude a customer is to expect of such a high branded organisation. I at no point was rude to any staff member nore would I be but I definitely don't expect to be spoken to with such sarcastic tones as I was. This happened at about 15. 45 on the 9th July 2022. I'm just guessing that the assistant manager asked the young girl to ask me to go around again because he was annoyed with me driving off. What he should have asked her to say was to advise me next time to order at the ordering point. I'm assuming that all this will be recorded on their CCTV so I'll have evidence that I was at no point...
Read moreI went there nearly from the day this place opened. They had one member staff... well, how do i put this, i rarely seen a meltdown in a mature person off camera, but this guy had one when i refused to take the cup holder. What an experience at 6am during a pandemic, that one was! For the one that don't know this, the cup holder is just a small cardboard box with holes in it. I terribly oppose paper and it's waste and these guys waste some paper... McDonald's and Costa are as bad. Then they went through teething issues with the taste of drinks. The chai tea (oat) just didn't taste as it did in every other 'Bucks i've been to. Pretty much tasted like boiled water... Those days seem to have gone and the team is getting it right. Although there is one thing to say about pricing. The price for the same drink varies, not from shop to shop as you'd probably understand, but from shift to shift, especially at this Starbucks. Even now, i find it costs more, or less on different days. But, the location is great and the look of the shop is nice and clean so visit and have a tea. It's the best thing since......
Read moreAbsolutely appalling customer service I did an online order when I was about 10 minutes away from the store and not only was my drink not ready they hadn't even started to make it Absolutely defeating the whole point of Click and collect. This meant that I had to wait another 10 minutes for them to serve the walk in customers they then decide to give my drink to another customer which is not fully there mistake however upon realising that it's the wrong drink the customer returns back into the store and the lady who gave her the wrong drink tries to give it to me despite it having left the store and potentially being drunk out of and the worst part is I didn't even get an apology. Even mcdonalds would have the class about them to remake it for you. So unfortunately rather than deal with people who have an incredible lack of food safety training I left it on the counter on walked out.i shudder to think what food safety processes are in place and I'm not risking food poisoning over a hot chocolate.
