Harveys Fish Bar — Restaurant in England

There was a time when I was impressed by this place. The most recent order (12/12/18) was abysmal and has put me off this place for good.

The food came late, chips were under-cooked and they FORGOT MY FISH. This ruined the takeaway and I would have rather had a cold can of beans than this disaster. I'm paying for a negative experience.

Anyway, we rang up and two members of staff were arguing in the background. Now, they resent out the fish and it arrived within 15 minutes. However, they had a chance to rectify their absolutely ridiculous mistake (how can you forget something which is in the title?). Free bottle of pop? Free can? Nope, just a fish that was tough to eat and smaller than usual....

Ordered some food through just eat and received a confirmation email at 7.35pm to say food will be with us 8.40pm, comes to 8.55pm no food, had to make a phone call asking when would it be delivered with the answer driver on the way. A few minutes later driver pulls up outside, moves black bin from the street with his bare hands so he can park outside our house, picks up food and brings it to the door. How disgusting is that! On top of that we had item missing from our order which shortly after was delivered. Great, delicious food but always late and please speak to your drivers and tell them that delivering food after touching peoples bins is not professional...

Absolutely disgusting, fish smelling off and old, kebab meat covered in grease, cold and not a fresh nan but an old reheated nan that was made elsewhere, cold food and totally ignored instructions message for the food. Reported to environmental services Derby. What is wrong with these takeaways they want your money, and it is the customer who keeps your business alive and you just don't care about the food quality you are sending out.
