I've been bombarded with spam messages from Domino's for months - always the same promotions, always saying "OptOut STOP to xxxxx0301," but from a different number every time - intentionally to stop you blocking the messages. It's clearly an automated marketing system.
I've complained directly to Domino's head office, but the messages still keep coming. Because the sending number changes each time, it's impossible to block them - and replying "STOP" risks confirming your number to what is clearly a spam-bot hosted goodness knows where.
This kind of unsolicited marketing is unlawful under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, yet Moulton Domino's seem happy to ignore it, and Domino's HQ are too useless to address the issue despite promising otherwise.
Unless you want a lifetime of spam texts, don't give these people your business. Use someone else who is familiar with UK marketing...

At 9:45 PM I called Domino's to inquire about my order and tell them that it hadn't arrived. The person on the phone first said that the courier came and called I don't know how many times, which was untrue because I was constantly holding my phone. Then when I raised my voice and asked him to tell us the number he called, someone else answered the phone and said the same thing the first time, that we were called, although he didn't know my contact number, then he changed it and said to contact Just Eat and hung up.
