Dunelm — Local services in Great Britain

We've been shopping at Dunelm for a while now. It's been good so far. One can always count on the brand for quality beddings, curtains, furniture and home decor.

Today we went browsing and ended up getting a great deal on onesies for the family and flower vases to increase our collection as we warm up to spring and summer.

Staff are always super helpful, the tills are attended to and queues quickly sorted.

There's a coffee shop (Pausa) in the store to grab a quick bite after a long day of sorting through carpets, beddings, lights & fittings and curtains.

There's also free parking. What is there...

Lovely items on 27th December, shame about the rude staff member who clearly didn’t want to be there, attempted to make me feel unwelcome as if I shouldn’t be there and when asked if a specific item had 20% off also as all the other items next to it and around it had she sarcastically said “look at the ticket, what does that say”. I replied and explained I just wanted to make sure as all the others had 20% off so wondered if it had been forgotten. Funnily enough , I checked online and it had 20% off but decided I would not bother and just bought...

There is something off about the demeanour of some of the female members of staff here; they don’t come across as warm or friendly, but rather aloof/cold and that serving customers is somehow an inconvenience for them (had to do click and collect, return a few items, ask questions about and buy a few items that turned out to have bits missing, etc) .. 🤷‍♂️

There was a bloke in there that was quite good though tbf; found our order without the 400 order number (using our name and address, which the lady failed to do) and tried to sort an issue...
