Grand Central — Local services in Great Britain

We were here last year for our christmas night out and it was brilliant.... cabaret ..food..staff..couldn't fault it.

This year however was a different story, the meal was lovely, however it took ages for them to serve inbetween courses. The cabaret..Elton John Neil Diamond wasn't the best. The drag act was brilliant and got everyone involved. The drinks were expensive and the price changed every time we got a round!?... The staff were pleasant enough but were very young and looked un interested. The hall had 7 tables in it with other works parties, there was no party atmospehere the dj didn't try to get folk in the party mood!. The hall was FREEZING!! so we spent the night with our jacket on, I honestly have never been as cold. For £35 each its not worth the money ... we definately...

Booked daughters 18th birthday party. Nicola who we made the booking with was wonderful and so helpful. On the night the party was great. The room was perfect and the staff were amazing. Especially Carrie who was there the whole night until the very end when we left. I can't recommend Grand Central highly enough. The four function rooms upstairs are excellent and large (we had 110 teenagers in ours), whether it's a 70th, 50th, 30th I'd definitely recommend ....and for an 18th (which lots of places don't offer) it was amazing with great staff and the perfect venue and all at a very reasonable price. Will definitely be using in...

Had my daughters 18th birthday party in reception room 2.everything was spotless clean table linen and chair covers. Bar staff we fabulous warm kind and very friendly. Dj was fantastic dance floor was never empty.. Great place to hold a private function. Security staff not so good was very overbearing sometimes aggressive patronising insulting and threatening.. Would ask next time for him not to be security.. But a great night thanks to all the staff...
