stumbled across this store as it was near my school and the ratings were high. i got the cod and fish for £10.80. the portion was enough to last me the entire day 🤣. super worth the money. however as i'm a person heavily reliant on flavours, the cod didn't have much flavour. even after i asked the counter staff to add salt and vinegar to both the fish and chips. my chips were soggy though. possibly because i didn't air the box when it was cooked fresh. service was immaculate, she was quick to serve with a smile. overall a good experience. (the video was the only one ive got, i was too hungry 🤣🤣)

Tried couple of times. Not a fish person myself but my wife is. So its the best fish and chips in bradley stoke area. First time we tried cod and chips. Absolutely no oil and yummy. Next time we tried haddock and chips but this it was oily . Thats the only reason for not giving 5 star Otherwise prime location near parkway station and ample space for parking. The service was really good too and you could order directly from website… no place to eat but you have a place to sit and wait. Drinks machine. And ya 5Ā£ and above only for cards…

Have been going to this chip shop since it opened and have always been treated very by staff. Never had an issue with food served (sometimes very generous with the portions, what is never an issue as the food is gorgeous). Ordered last night and got a large rather than a small cheesy chips (again not the first time this has happened, and I'll always be humble about that). Overall, staff are lovely, shop is always delightfully warm or cold depending on the weather, food is always quick even when made to order!

Chose to use this chippy as have been working local for a few weeks. First two visits were fine tbh, good quality food and no issues however, last week when ordering I wasn’t asked about food intolerances ( trust me this is normal, most places don’t ask) so knowing how sick I would become, I ALWAYS state which items I can’t eat (avoid stay in hospital on antibiotics). When I got food back to hotel room it was laden with the ingredients I CANT eat. I called the restaurant and spoke to the manager. He immediately blamed a new member of staff and said ā€œshe is trainingā€. I commented that as she’s so new, food intolerances and food hygiene would probably have been the first thing she was taught. The manager agreed and I explained that I would not comment on social media as it’s his business and I was satisfied that he would resolve the issue. We agreed that next time I call in he would rectify the problem. I assumed reimbursement or free food. Last night I called in to see what was to be offered, unfortunately he immediately said that the issue was that I didn’t explain the severity of my intolerance and I should have been more specific!! So here we are on media leaving a poor report. I assure you that if I hadn’t checked my food I would have been hospitalised. I am fully aware of my condition and don’t treat it lightly. I just want to make any future customers aware that this treatment is not acceptable.

I walked back out of his shop as I couldn’t put up with ignorance and...

Food is pretty good although never seems really hot. However, my biggest bug bear with this place is the queuing system. Tonight it was quite busy and large queue outside. The girl taking the orders from face to face customers was also taking telephone orders. I wouldn’t expect a customer to ā€˜push in’ in front of me in the shop so why do the staff think it is okay to answer the phone while we wait to place our orders? I mentioned this to the staff member who says she has to do both while three other staff were stood waiting to pack orders of those already in the shop. Unless this changes I will take my custom elsewhere! I saw at least two customers walk away from the queue outside due to the waiting around. With rising prices, takeaway food is a treat now and I would have thought this place like many others need all the customers they can get! It’s noticeable no one seems to get a response from the owner to previous feedback,...

I'd always heard good things about this place yet had never been in. I finally decided to try it out and unfortunately ended up disappointed. The service was flat and offish. The food was less than sufficient and seemed to take an age to be ready ( especially considering it was only sausages and chips, and it was very quiet at the time I went in). The chips were pale and undercooked and the whole lot seemed to taste and smell of the paper and cardboard they were wrapped in. I couldn't get rid of the taste of sweaty cardboard for hours!!?? Blurgh. The sausages were OK but nothing special I'm afraid.

I certainly won't be trying theses guys out again. I'm not sure what all the fuss was about?

And for £20 (for 2 chips and 4 sausages) the value was poor too. I rarely write or post a negative review but this experience, I'm sorry to say,...
