What happened!? Had delivery from Spicy Wife for the first time on Saturday 14th June and it was great, tasty mixed grill and tikka masala. But when we ordered the same yesterday evening, Thursday 3rd July, we had what was probably the worst Indian meal ever delivered! The tikka and mixed grill meats had clearly been reheated, completely dried out. Even the bland sauce in the tikka couldn’t rescue the hard chicken cubes.The dall was tasteless and hardly cooked. I can’t imagine the two meals were cooked by the same person or perhaps I was the only customer last night and this meal was cobbled together from left overs with an instant ready masala and dall. Wow shocking. Waited an hour and 20 mins. Called dead on the hour and was told 2 mins. 10 mins later I phoned again. Said they were going to phone the driver. No call back from them with any details. Just started to call them to cancel our order and the man came running up the road. Didn't even park near our house yet our street was empty from cars?? Food was warm not hot! Although it was OK food this is the second time they have been considerably late so no more orders from us now. And didn't even attempt to take any money off the bill. I had an incredible experience with Spicey Wife Curry Takeaway! The food was absolutely amazing and easily some of the best I’ve had in a long time. The chicken tikka was cooked to perfection tender, juicy, and bursting with flavour. It came out a gorgeous ruby red, just how it should be, and tasted every bit as good as it looked.

The korma was equally delicious creamy, rich, and perfectly balanced. You can really taste the quality and care that goes into every dish.
