On the 17th of March myself and some friends visited the Student Union at the University of Stirling, and what can I say? A fantastic time was had by all. The staff had gone the extra mile to make our St. Patrick's Day particularly special, with a selection of Irish songs playing as we dined, such as Westlife and the likes. They even had Irish themed green water! Curly fries were exquisite.
We had enjoyed ourselves so much that we decided to dine in the establishment once again the following evening. Well - a completely different and upsetting experience shall we say. Our experience was particularly damped by one fellow diner who made derogatory remarks about my friend (weight related) after she ordered a half portion of curly fries. Understandably, she was very upset and this had put her off ever frequenting this restaurant again. To have a complete stranger treat her in such a way is disgusting and not the sort of behaviour I expect staff at the eatery to condone.
