We stopped here on our way to the Giant’s Causeway but didn’t have time for the Distillery Tour, but wanted to try some whiskeys.

The Gift Shop had a lovely adjacent bar with very friendly, helpful staff. We tasted Bushmills Original, American Oak and Caribbean Rum for £10, then Black Bush, 10 Year Old Malt and Distillery Reserve for £15. The samples are small but the prices are very reasonable given the quality of the whiskeys.

My favourite place in the world, the worlds oldest legal whiskey distillery in the world - the reserve I just pictured is the best bang for your buck 12 year old £47 cannot be bought anywhere else on the planet except here in the distillery, hints of chocolate and spice finished in a sherry cask , beautiful !
